A lifetime of dust settles on an ivory floor

Voices echo in empty halls
Like earthquakes on our anniversary

Through One window seldom peeks the suns watchful eye
But not here.
Nothing is ever really here
Because this house and all its walls
Used to be some made up place
Then days transposed for ever
waiting for you
And after i finally built the nerve to leave
