I am not sure what forum this needs to go in (I always have this problem).
So, with all the presidential craziness I was looking at follower sizes of both candidates on different social media platforms. Trump has a much
larger following on the sampled platforms verses Biden.
Guess I find it odd that Trump vs Biden’s followers on social media are so vastly different to the voting turnout popular vote. Does Biden really
resonate with older individuals that are not on these huge platforms? I mean if someone has a candidate they are wanting to support I would think a
person would follow them on at least FB. These are all official accounts for each candidate by the way.
Trump 33 million followers
Biden 4.2 million followers
Trump 87.9 million followers
Biden 12.6 million followers
Trump 1.93 million subscribers
Biden 526 thousand subscribers
Popular vote (as of 11/4/2020 4:45 est)
Trump 67.02 million
Biden 70.18 million
