School closures will cost students thousands in future earnings

how can anyone even say currant students will earn less because of this? everyone is pretty much in the same boat. everyone will still need the same employees, to do the same jobs. and it's not as if there is really any disparity since it's not like anyone is really any better off education wise than anyone else in the same age groups. and it's not as if a couple years will really have any real impact on education of people anyway. to be honest they would have been better off in my opinion just to cancel school completely for the year. in fact most students would probably be better off doing so, since we really start education too early for many in the first place.
