Good idea, also you can rinse them and re-add less salt

Sorry I'm late to the pizza party but sometimes cold pizza is just as good!

Anchovies? Absolutely! Love the things. Personally, I like to put them on after the pizza is cooked. That, or cut them up first. A whole anchovy cooked in with the cheese can sometimes give you a fishy tasting pizza. Adding them afterwards doesn't do this and really accents the flavor of the anchovy along with everything else.

Only thing I don't really care for on pizza is black olives. It's not that I don't like black olives, but a pizza with black olives tastes like black olives and nothing else. They just take over. I'm getting the same way anymore with green peppers. Now, green olives, on the other hand, on a pizza can be interesting.

Most all of the other toppings I'm good with, with one caveat...

Pizza needs to be made with "pizza" stuff, so things like BBQ chicken, buffalo wing chicken, tacos, white cream sauce, etc. don't belong on pizza to begin with, IMNSHO.

Except for deep dish (which I seldom have) I prefer cold pizza over hot.

Black olives. They matter.
