Yes, terrible mismanagement all the way..

It should be clear to the medical professionals that lockdowns don't work.

If they try to enforce them again, it will not be for the well being of the people.

The problem is that the virus is not going to disappear, so even if one temporarily prevents its spread by shuttering people in their homes, sooner or later people will have to mingle, and when they do, their bodies will not be conditioned to fight it, so the infection rate certainly will increase. In fact, that is what we have seen so far, as we have lockdowns followed by relaxation of the rules, followed by a surge of new infections. That surge then leads to panic in the media and among the political classes, with the new “solution” being even more lockdowns.

One would think that this seemingly endless cycle of lockdown-relaxation-lockdown would lead the authorities to rethink their strategies, but that is not the case, and this willful blindness is not limited to American politicians. We see governments in Denmark, Belgium, New Zealand, and elsewhere reverting to lockdowns after an increase in new infections.

Meanwhile, the Swedish infection rate clearly is falling, and falling relative to the infection rates of countries that have followed strict lockdown procedures, even if mainstream journalists do not wish to make the comparisons. To a casual observer, it made sense to think that over the past eight months, if the mainstream “experts” were correct, Sweden would be a basket case, as Swedes have carried on with their lives—usually not wearing face coverings—in a way that would seem to be an open invitation to mass spreading of covid-19. Moreover, if the media is to be believed, Swedes should be dying in record numbers. We see none of that happening, yet the Sweden-must-lock-down-or-else narrative continues to dominate the news (and certainly Google’s search engine).

The media is probably Anti-WHO now, since every thing they've said in the past 2 weeks has been contrary to the Pre-Election FEAR PORN being pushed this month by ABC-CBS-NBC-CNN-FOX-NYT-WaPO...along with many local news outlets.

Much of Europe is discovering right now how badly lock downs work. They're getting hit with the spike most of the rest of us are getting past as we started opening up long ago. Only they're getting pasted worse because they locked down harder.

Just imagine what it will be like when New Zealand and Australia finally get it going on down there.

Their internal "weird" parties have been frowned upon for years. In 2018, the W.H.O. spent more on travel and debauchery than they did on "research" or "causes".

If true, I'm not exactly surprised. Outside of the US, most of the world now has things pretty much under control. And at this point it's clear the US isn't going to listen to science. So why not rescind recommendations for lockdowns?

Really? Europe doesn't look under control to me.

With Europe now reporting more coronavirus cases than the United States, Brazil and India, according to World Health Organization figures, many governments are closing down pubs and bars or limiting their opening hours in the hope of avoiding wider lockdowns.

That was two days ago. If they had "handled it right", why are they having more cases now than the US?

I said this originally, then waffled later. Im so ashamed of myself.

Wife pressure can be intense. Plus my account was hacked.

Our country did a lockdown which was supposed to be used temporarily to get our health industry get prepared to handle the covid and to learn more about the disease. That took about two months or so to get prepared to handle more disease and another month longer to get evidence of treatments to help people. Then we had some governors go overboard and shut things down. Shutting down our economy for a long time was never the intention of the CDC. We are now more prepared to handle this disease. Biden does not listen to science, he listens to a certain number of scientists who cannot comprehend how destroying our economy is going to be worse than this disease. Science is supposed to take everything into consideration, focusing on one thing is not science. It is evidence to be used and considered in evaluation, science will crash if the economies crash.
