Today, I finally did it. I registered to vote. No more maybes, no more I’ll do-it-next-times. I could have voted in the last 3 presidential elections, but I didn’t.

I was apathetic. I believed there is too much cheating and too many stacked cards to make a difference.

Then Trump won the election that Hillary was all but given. This forced me to review my apathetic stance and accusation of fixed elections.

It is very likely that my state will vote blue, and my vote will amount to nothing, because I am voting Trump.

But it’s not nothing. It may seem trivial or mundane to you, but to me this is an important first vote for me to make.

The fence I’ve been sitting on is owned by the devil. It’s time to get off.

I saw the outbursts, the tantrums, and the TDS. For 4 years I was a by-stander.

I saw the media expose themselves as the tools they are--biased, complicit, accomplices to fraud, advocates of deceit and illusion. You can’t even say the S-name on TV!

I heard the reeee. I saw the cancel culture. I saw the Tik-Tok snowflakes melt down.

I looked on while Trump has been dragged through the mud every week, every month, every year. I watched the numerous false allegations (and the guilty-by-association allegations e.g. Kavanaugh,) and the contrived work of fiction used to push impeachment.

I will not vote for that.

I saw the 2 scoops headline. I will not vote for more of that.

I will not be voting for socialist extremism and identity politics.

I watched as rioters, looters, and arsonists have brazenly marched through streets harassing innocent people, destroying property, businesses, livelihoods and lives.

The left has threatened to burn down our cities and our institutions of government. I am not voting for that.

That is not something I can vote for.

The Left, you have shredded the last bit of voter apathy in me. Congratulations, you have crafted a Trump voter from a lazy, drowsy manchild. That is really saying something! Kudos.

My vote may be lost in the deluge, but you don’t have my vote. Drop the manic and violent ideology and maybe we’ll talk again.

Evil triumphs when good buddhas do naught. I will cast my vote.

Will you research the people down ticket? You know, the City Council, the judges, the Board of Education nominees and then there's the propositions? Or is this just a Trump vote?

The Democratic party needs burned down.

From the Federal to the State to the local level.

The current Burn Loot Murder movement and the complicity of local and state leadership has shown us that.

Welcome to reaping what you have sown.

To the OP...

Your vote is not wasted at all... it will be a strong signal that "We are tired and are not going to take it anymore!!!"

I, like you, have no real reason to vote.

Montana last Presidential election was called for Trump with 7% of the vote in and nobody cared anyways because we have 1 electoral vote.

However.

Now that you and I and everyone has found out that the POPULAR vote is what really counts...

EVERY vote matters.

Congratulations, welcome to the club! Now when you complain about the other side, you won't be like all those squealers who cry about the president but never bothered to vote. One more vote for Trump never hurts either!

Sookie brings up the best point.

Are you familiar with the local issues that will be up for vote?

Down ticket research will influence the future more than the presidential election, you're voting for more than just president.

I won't be voting for Trump or Biden but I'm excited that the president inspired you to get involved in the process.

Congrats for shedding your apathy and welcome to the machine.

Good, now don't stop, vote in your state elections, vote in local elections. The ability for you, me and all the people eligible to vote are why so many people have fought and died over the years.

It not might seem like much, but having just a small voice is better than none. Use it.

They changed that qualification, in my state atleast. I had never registered, but I was called up. When I got the notice I looked it up, and I think it's through your driver's license now.

What are you on about local elections for ?
We are talking about a presidential election.
And , in the case of local elections , one either knows the candidate or knows someone who does.
