Ok so this is just ridiculous - a Health Passport rolled out in Ireland for Covid

www.youtube.com...

www.healthpassportireland.ie...

It implies you will need this for travel (by the title, video and imagery) but would most likely be used for anything - entry to pubs, hospitality, school possibly?

It could be used in any way in the future - what if the government bring out more harsh measures in order to be able to do anything? What if they don't agree with your politics, religion, personal beliefs etc - could they just change your health passport to red and make you essentially imprisoned?
I am really concerned with the Chinese vibe of this (the government) it feels like we will all be forced into this in the near future and potentially not able to participate properly in society without it.
Is anyone else concerned about this? I feel like I am the only one who is worried about this type of thing becoming the norm - when Covid is nowhere near as bad as made out and is only really serious for those with underlying conditions or pretty elderly.
We are going overboard with the measures and laws here in the UK and feels like we are really losing some civil liberties on an almost daily basis.

Also worrying is this discussion (watch the video on Twitter)

MP Tobias Ellwood proposing that military oversees mass-vaccination of Britain, and issuance of VACCINATION CERTIFICATES for international travel. Member of 77th Brigade, the psychological warfare unit which "assists" Cabinet (via Rapid Response Unit) in shaping public discourse.

twitter.com...

Covid is not as bad as first made out, we weren't overwhelmed here in the UK, our Nightingale hospitals weren't even used - so why the extreme reaction to this virus from the government and everyone else? It's becoming ridiculous now.

This pass isn’t a yellow hexagon by chance, is it?

Why are they blowing it up? To promote fear so people will give the government more control over them willfully. It is all about getting people totally dependent on their government.

So is this part of rolling out the NWO?

Why would an Ireland hallway health pass work in China or Taiwan? Unless the system is being implemented across the globe.

Yeah I agree but not enough people seem to be bothered - I hate to use the word 'sheep' as it is overused but seriously, why is everyone kind of going along with it without question anymore???

Even on this site, there isn't much questioning or concern. We were worried about this virus when it first emerged but as time has gone on Covid has proven itself to be nowhere near as bad as first thought - so surely the reaction by the world governments to it should seem suspicious to people. But it doesn't.

It really does feel like we are literally sleep walking into another world.

It's normalising it - first Ireland, then the UK
The fact it has being developed and promoted and now piloted is really worrying.
Maybe there will be something within the app to make it globally accepted - you just wave it at each customs check.
But who is to say it will stop at being used just for travel? Once we accept it for that, we may as well accept it for many things - school, shopping, banking, credit card applications etc who knows.

You got that right!

Lets not forget how people where dropping like flies in the streets of China. Have we seen that anywhere else? NO!

China caused all this mass hysteria, yet I haven't seen one person fall flat on their face over COVID.

It seems the globalist have taken advantage of an overblown harmless virus.

Not to mention is it me or does it seem weird that all the draconian COVID laws are being tried in quasi British dominions like Australia and now Ireland. Mighty oppressive of the lizard queen, LOL she will show you try to point out her son's pedophilac nature.

Yeah and i do wonder if a lot of that was absolute bollocks to make us all fear this.
Wuhan is back to absolute normality now - everyone is out clubbing/socialising
No new cases since May is it? apart from people entering from abroad - yeah right. So are we to believe that they totally wiped out Covid? And how exactly? When the rest of the world is flapping like lunatics about it.
Sure, makes sense.
It's insane.

I agree 100 percent it's not a good development, what's the chance there is a real outcry against this or is it too late already.

The virus is very easily transmitted, but for the vast majority of people it is not really bad. But for some it is very bad, we need to concentrate on keeping those people protected instead of promoting fear in everyone. Everyone has the right to live.....except unborn babies I guess....but that does not give people the right to irresponsibly increase others chances of dying. I am not afraid of this virus, a lot of viruses can kill certain people if they catch them. This is very catchy, that is the problem.

Sounds to me like a prime excuse for a friendly steel drum fire at a civil daytime protest, to burn them symbolically at.

I'm not even really kidding, either. I'd say do it to make a statement that cannot be ignored.

Thank you, another poster bringing up the chaos that came from China pre-covid US.

I feel like this needs to be addressed, did China overreact? If so, why are we overreacting?

Of course the death toll is going to rise when ELECTED officials put tested sick people in an retirement home. But, that was just a once in a lifetime opportunity.

Wow so much unfounded doom and gloom and fear.
Nobody increases anyone's chance of getting it, it is everyone's own responsibility to assess the situation and then take precautions. Why is everyone being punished for a few?
What did we do during previous flus?
LIke the one in 2015?
Lots of handwashing and common sense.

The blooming numbers are proven to be wrong. Too high, but nobody want's to address this. It should be the best news ever but that would mean some people would have to apologise for overreacting, so it's not widely reported.

It ain't that catchy either. Some think it is, because so many people test positive. Positive for what?
Corona bits and pieces. They could have come from previous colds or flus etc, that's all they can see. They can NOT test for covid.
The test are crap, too many false positives.
And then you actually catch it, you won't even know. As you said already. However the majority who will be alright can not be asked to look after every single person who is scared or has a legitimate reason. That's down to the individual.
If you are compromised, stay indoors, wear a biohazard suit, 10 masks, ask everyone to get a frigging health passport to do normal things, inject them with a vaccine. Quick, there are people without a mask, oh no babies will now get aborted.

Nobody at this point can seriously sill believe that the reactions fit the reason. This is mass hysteria.

This is where I really draw the line, we cannot take guidance from people who don't know what they are talking about.

I get what you are saying but even so, the response is OTT based on what we know about Covid now and the improvement in treatment since January/Feb.
What are we supposed to do to protect these people though? Do we literally grind life to a halt? Curtail many civil liberties until a vaccine? Which is very unlikely to ever materialise.
I don't want anyone to be reckless (i feel for the vulnerable and want to protect them of course) , but we must steady ourselves a bit and really work out what is the right path to go down with this. Health passports, can't mix with anyone, travel restrictions - where do we draw the line?

The company is pretty serious about this being used world-wide. But here's an excerpt from one of their "How it works" pages that should send chills up your spine. I'm going to bold part of it:

If you have not yet been tested for COVID-19, you can still immediately use the technology by installing the Health Passport Scanner app.

This means you can easily scan others whenever needed. It gives great security for you and your family throughout or daily lives, for example when availing of services, whilst travelling, at events, at work and much more.
