I've been reading most of the political posts about Joe Biden and there's always something that has been missing about the real reason why Biden has been chosen for running for the presidency of the United States.

From what I can gather on his interviews is that he will definitely just cut off everybody at any time and just walk out like a little child like a little stubborn child that is.

That is not a sign of a sharing and caring and just and fair type of leadership that that is needed to run the country, any country that is.

Well I guess the answer my own question would be, something of the nature that has never happened before in the US Presidential running campaign and that would be a replacement for him at the last very moment and a new vice president will be chosen at that time too which the Americans will have no say into who the vice president will be.
whatever the outcome will be it does seem like it will be a country of total confusion and I sincerely mean that too. A country that is in a state of confusion. And what would happen to such of the country well perhaps you guys can answer it on this thread also.

Hey thanks a lot man.

but I also think it's a real very serious type of question to be answered by us members here on ATS.

There's just so many unanswered questions regarding Biden running for the US presidency that just doesn't add up to . Statesmanship, Biden truly in my opinion and probably lots of members here's opinion also is that he doesn't have it and what it takes to be a leader of a growing and prosperous country.

Perhaps you missed that whole "2020 Democratic Primary" thing....

He wasn't the only option.

Nope... Biden is who the Democratic voters want.

No. He was the only option.

Did you think a gay man would win?

If the "other team" wanted to win perhaps they should have chosen someone capable of winning...

To the OP...

I am puzzled at Biden's nomination myself.

A part of me thinks that when he said "he HAD to run" it was because of the numerous scandals he was being investigated for that wouldn't be looked into that closely if he was actually nominated. Which would protect the people that were above him at the time... think Obama.

Another part just thinks it is politics.... Get Biden elected By Any Means Necessary, let him serve as a sock puppet for Bernie and the other socialists for 2 years and 1 day, let him resign and whomever was the VP could serve out the rest of the term and still be able to run 2 more times, with the 10-15% boost an incumbent gets. Essentially 12 years of a Progressive rule, fully endorsed by our propaganda news outlets.

Or it could just be that the average Democratic voter is a @%$@ idiot and the Democratic party knows that, so they are just putting the poor old guy in as a figurehead.

Another more realistic thought is that the Democratic party is pretty sure that 2020 would be a loss for them and they just gave the nod to Biden because he was owed it.

Think Mondale.

RECENTLY though, I have come to the conclusion that they didn't want to win at all (judging by who they put on the ticket) and just want to continue the looting, the rioting, the burning in an attempt to further "fundamentally transform" America.

After all, you will need to destroy what is here before rebuilding...

Obama did, so we've already hit that milestone.

But seriously. The Democratic party fielded a whole slew of Progressive people who checked all the right boxes with the diversity/social justice crowd.

So why did they go with an old rich white hetero guy?

Any actual rational thoughts on the topic?

Or are you going to stick with "Biden was the only option in the 2020 Democratic Primary"?

Inquiring minds would like to know!

Over the years, Joe has built the undeserved reputation of being a “blue collar” democrat. Swing state blue collar voters gave Trump the election in ‘16.

Joe has the name recognition, having been VP and in politics for 40+ years.

It was either Bernie or Biden and I’m guessing they figured Bernie was too extreme for a good portion of middle America.

Also, with Biden, you get a guy who will do whatever he’s told. He’s easily controlled.

I’ve also entertained the idea that they don’t think they have a great shot at beating Trump, so they put Biden up as a sacrificial lamb, so as not to burn a younger candidate that can be used later.
While this scenario may seem far fetched, I can’t help but include it in the realm of possibility due to the fact that the Dems/Biden seem to be completely mailing it in. Seems like almost every move they make blows up in their face.
This kind of worries me because I’ve always considered the Dems to be cunning in their political calculations. Why would they be so inept recently? It stinks of a long con.

What if, in the past, they only seemed cunning and capable because Republican leadership was controlled opposition? What if Trump is the first POTUS in generations that isn’t playing the “uniparty” game and that’s why they’re so noticeably on their heels? Interesting to think about.

In any event, the answer to your question is most likely:
He’s corrupt, senile, and easily controlled.

How quickly we forget ...

As we learned in 2016, the Democratic nomination goes to the highest bidder. Votes don't matter.

Joe Biden was simply willing to pay more for the nomination than the other candidates. I would imagine it was a combination of factors. Some candidates may have wanted it more, but couldn't outbid Joe. Some candidates may have been able to outbid Joe, but didn't want to spend that kind of money to run against Trump.
