Here's a question, how close was the race? Would those 38 ballots made a difference? In some of these races 38 ballots can make a huge difference.

exactly!! and we are reading about it because they were "caught" being the key word here.....this election is being watched very closely........a state just took away the 6 day window to count up the absentee ballots....

If the ballots weren’t then enclosed in another envelope that shielded the actual vote being cast, they may have been considered “naked ballots,” a term used to describe mail ballots returned without the voter’s intent being protected.

If that’s the case, which again isn’t clear, that meant that elections officials who were opening the envelopes to see what they contained may have had to discard the votes, given a recent ruling by the state’s Supreme Court.....according to Pedri, the county hired a temporary staffer, as it usually does before an election. On Sept. 14, that staffer “incorrectly discarded” ballots from military or overseas voters. After county staffers learned about the ballots being discarded, the county informed federal authorities, secured trash from the dumpster and fired the temporary employee. County staff, local law enforcement and the FBI sorted through the trash to find any missing ballots.

It is very relevant because at the local level, races are won by relatively miniscule amounts.

Remember, we have an electoral college. It isn't the popular vote that wins elections. If I am not mistaken, Trump won by like 80,000 votes becuase he won strategically important states. In other words, it only takes say a couple thousand votes to win a state and ultimately the election.

Election fraud will probably always happen on some level on both sides of the U.S.'s insanely divided system.

California is running radio ads telling people they can practice voting online until they get there mail in ballot not hard to see how they can accidentally double vote and if joe wins, no investigation. a lot of people have seen voter fraud but are scared to speak out or are told not to because frankly most of the people doing it are black here in California at least and no one wants to appear racist, I think there handelers are using white guilt to get away with it, these people are not stupid, certainly Bloomberg thinks he can buy 30k votes in Florida with no issues.

In the Pennsylvania case (which was a different fraud scenario) they only found 9 ballots in the garbage (all from military personnel). However, there's no telling how many ballots from military personnel were thrown in the dumpster that were NOT found.

Yeah, the Texas case is only 38 ballots and it's from 2018, but this shows that such a fraud scheme is possible. You can bet that if these 4 could do it in 2018, there are more trying to do the same right now.

Yes, it takes time for the court system to work. Fraud committed in this year's election probably won't be convicted until 2022.

You think it's not relevant? I bet you'd feel different if you went to vote and the worker took your vote and dropped it in the garbage. Probably be mad even? Call the (Defunded) police?

voting will be watched closely in this election.......republicans are absolutely terrified that a democratic president means we will have a socialist country......they have even posted on here "we must do whatever it takes" to prevent this does that include cheating??????

here is another question how many ballots get disqualified by registered real and well meaning voters who didn't fill it out properly......

I personally don't believe rejecting ballots that were improperly filled out is cheating or tampering. Not sure what the popular opinion on that is. It's not Reps or Dems faults, people make mistakes.

But finding Trump votes in the garbage is 100% DEFINITELY CHEATING, which he have clear examples of already.

There are rules. Things have to be done properly. Ballots must be filled out properly or they don't count.

So... if you want your vote to count, learn how to fill out the ballot properly.
