Jesus states we will know the day if we are watching Revelation 3:3

Yep that about sums it up if you read revelation 3:3 you'll see Jesus actually says you'll know the day.

Because it's happening so you'd know it is?

People vanish and there's reports, or your family members are gone, or you experience being raptured?

Or that you'll know ahead of time?

It's open to interpretation is it not?

I would suggest that he is discussing the timeline as described in Revelation 11

I thought that passage in Revelations was telling people to be ready, because they wont know when the day is coming.



Matthew 24 says:

But concerning that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, nor the Son, but the Father only. 37 For as were the days of Noah, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 38 For as in those days before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day when Noah entered the ark, 39 and they were unaware until the flood came and swept them all away, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. 40 Then two men will be in the field; one will be taken and one left. 41 Two women will be grinding at the mill; one will be taken and one left. 42 Therefore, stay awake, for you do not know on what day your Lord is coming. 43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known in what part of the night the thief was coming, he would have stayed awake and would not have let his house be broken into. 44 Therefore you also must be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

That's not about knowing the day in advance.
"Being awake" means being ready for it when it comes.
"Being asleep" means not being ready for it when it comes.
And he's talking about his return to judge the world, which is why being on the wrong side of it will be like the sudden invasion of a thief.

then...after that verse Jesus went to the throne and sat by the father....

then said in verse 1 Rev...this is the info the Father gave Jesus to show His saints what must soon come to pass....

watch, therefore....for if you do not watch, you will not know the day

But pay attention as we have "Peace, Peace" happening today. Jesus said,

1Th 5:2-3 For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape.

Peace with UAE, Bahrain and more Middle Eastern Peace with Israel. That is a indication we are near.

Jesus did not say we or even Satan would know the day the hour or the season. Jesus said,

Mt 24:36 But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.
Mr 13:32 But of that day and that hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels which are in heaven, neither the Son, but the Father.
Ac 1:7 And he said unto them, It is not for you to know the times or the seasons, which the Father hath put in his own power.

You might narrow it down to a year but even that is questionable. As he did say Times and a year is a time.

Yep, it is Revelation 12 times. Once for each Tribe of Israel. His name in chapter 22 verifies it is he who revealed everything to John in the book of Revelation. It proves he is the first and the Last, the one sitting on the throne, the who has the 7 stars, the seven lamps, the one who have eyes of fire in Chapter 1. The one whose sword wipes out the Nations Armies gathered against Jerusalem in Chapter 19.
