Nope, Fauci said mask weren't necessary with a smirk on his face, knowing we could mass produce the junk masks that business's are currently using. Why? , to save medical mask for healthcare workers. Medical meaning of higher quality that still aren't quite effective.

He also told the American people we didn't have much to worry about admittedly with a caveat of the unknown.
He also said travel restrictions would be irrelevant.

Pelosi went to China town to have a press conference and told people they should live their lives as normal, Schumer did something similar.

The Eu was blasting us as well for the European ban, which at the time was where most assumed cases were coming from.

The worst part of the virus response wasn't downplaying it, it is in fact the overreaction that has been and will be more costly.

It's weird, I thought people were on this site due to them knowing that governments lie. Don't a lot of people here believe all governments are lying about aliens?

Its not that I don't care that I'm being lied to it's just the expected nature of the game.

Masks are ####ing worthless in this crap.

Speaking as someone in the middle of a crapfest sh#t-storm.

How far away from you is the fire?

Yesterdays pic. It's closer now. From my driveway.

Jeez...that's bad.
Sorry you're dealing with that.
My step daughter and her family have left Redland Ca. because of fires near their house.
They're staying with us now.

Has the particulate laden air slowed down the protests?
I can't breathe protests against that damn fire?

We've got 2 different families staying with us now. I helped evacuate one family. Then popped back to work, then got fried chicken, chinese food, pizza and ice cream for all the kids.

I've provided booze for the grown-ups.

We're all just chilling right now.

No protests and no social distancing.

We're all just trying to hug each other and deal with the wild fires.

LOL...Hannity just played a video clip of Biden saying on Feb. 28th: "It's not the time to panic about the Coronavirus".

Hmmm. But was his response, as president, to purposefully lie to the American people, announce a steady stream of mixed messages (often from one day to the next), and sow division over something that needn't at all be a political issue?

I mean... that's Trump's regular game plan with most everything so who is really surprised here.

No need to panic. But certainly a need to be honest, take responsibility, and take action... like a g-dam leader should.

I'm also in Pinal County, right near the base of the the San Tan Mountains. Glad to see that we'll be dealing with less snowbirds this year. They pretty much ruin our traffic.

I've been anti-mask throughout this whole thing, because I know that I'm either going to get it, or I'm not. Considering my line of work and how much I have to deal with the public, my chances of getting it are pretty good if this thing is actually as dangerous as they claim. That one stop at a QT in Tempe is the only time I've had anyone say anything.

Let me help. N95 and respirators help a bit with smoke.

All the other garbage masks don’t stop the harmful smoke particles. Just like they don’t stop the much smaller covid virus.

If I had something that helped me avoid breathing that damn smoke I don’t think that I would wait for a health order to wear one.

On the other hand I wouldn’t walk around like a moron wearing something that didn’t work.

I have been through whole summers breathing forest fire smoke, and believe me, you will try anything to get relief.

my point why would you protect your self from smoke with a mask but not from covid-19...
they both can kill you

Thanks.

We're trying.

Funny enough I have one family that is ultra-left and another that isn't.

We're all just getting drunk, watching kid shows on tv (too many youngins here) and the older kids in two different rooms battling some sort of video game.

If I were to protect myself from a dangerous virus I would wear a mask that was designed for that purpose.

The difference between wearing a cheap mask or piece of cloth over my face to protect me from smoke or a virus is that you can’t smell a virus.
