The Frenchman who lives in the Dordogne was trying to kill the Fly with an electric racket unaware that he had a leaky gas cylinder so when he went in for the kill the spark from the racket blew up part of his house , luckily the unnamed Frenchman was unhurt apart from a slight burn to his arm but the house wasn't so lucky.

and his home is currently uninhabitable, due to slight problems with the collapsed ceiling.

According to the article the fate of the Fly is unknown but if my experience is anything to go by the Fly isn't dead until you see it dead.

It might be sad that a guy has blown up his house but that was kinda funny. For some reason I'm liking that guy...and the fly too!

S+F for making me laugh!

It's a fluke. The French never lift a finger to kill anything.

"alright fly I had enough, Jacque hold my cognac, watch this."

Boom

"F*** Jacque you ok? Call the cops the foreign legion tell them the insects are now suicidal kamikazes, VIVA LA FRANCE"

If I had a fly in my house my go to is the 10 gauge with bird shot, it leaves smaller holes and all that

Sometimes, even opposable thumbs don't convey that much advantage, do they?

I didn't know that they allowed flies in Germany.

In my house we lovingly refer to the common house fly as "Sky Raisins" as we have a new puppy to take the mantle of our passed doggo "Tippy". Our new puppy his name is Bruiser and he is 7 months old 74 lbs German Shepard with super doggie powers to leap off the ground and catch them irritating bastards about 80% of the time. I don't know what he is going to do come fall and winter when them evil bastards go into hiding and leaves my hungry puppy without their much needed sky raisin protein.

He eats lantern flies too, little devil.

I've contemplated burning my place down to kill a fly before. The annoyance is real.

I'm surprised frenchy could not smell the gas, most places introduce mercaptan to make it smell really bad.

Funny, but my sympathies, flies can be super annoying.

Not sure as to the fly's whereabouts or condition.

But forensics are on the scene.

As a French guy, I'll cut you.

As for the OP,
What- no pics of the house?
