I’ve had several requests to give links to the hoax papers written by James Lindsay, Helen Pluckrose, and Peter Boghossian. They are called Hoax grievance Papers. You can find them on YouTube. The group has been interviewed by Dr Jordan Peterson. Dr Lindsay has been on the Rogan podcast and many other YouTube channels . Dr Peterson is an expert on the social justice phenomenon. Another good source is Dr. Johnathan Haidt, he wrote a book called “ The Coddling of the American Mind” on how the academy are complicit in creating these social justice warriors.( really you eurolibs should try reading, education is a great thing). The book explains why leftists don’t want to be exposed to ideas opposite of their own ( something you were SUPPOSED to do when I was in the university) and instead need safe spaces and just shut down the debate. They have bias response teams that can be called by students should someone say something that OFFENDS them. What a bunch of wussies

Dr. Lindsay has a great speech in front of the American Liberal club in Washington DC on a YouTube channel called New Discourses that succinctly lays out how the social justice movement got its start from these French communist philosophers. What really fascinating to me is, he explains why the gay movement is so important in all of this. I’ve often wondered why, given that gays make up such a small fraction of our population, are so front and center in our culture. But Dr Lindsay explains when these communist professors in the US ( in early 80’s)were trying to get their start, no reputable journal would publish any of their work. They weren’t getting hired much less tenure at universities. So they started their own journal called queer studies and published their own papers. Once they started getting jobs and being published they’ve gone back to the other journals and republished their works. Now these professors dominate the whole American academy. But it was queer studies that gave them their start and they haven’t forgotten. How many times have you seen a gay flag wrapped around a blm banner.

The group wrote 20 papers so far and many were accepted. Their most famous one is called the dog park paper. It surmised they could use dog park rules on men to stop the rape culture at nightclubs. The writer supposedly spent 10,000 hours in a Portland dog park. If the academy had even looked at how many hours in a year they would have realized no one would spend that much time in a dog park. They said the watched for hetero, or gay sex between dogs, then inspected the genitalia of the dogs, then watched how the owners responded to what the dogs did. Then they asked the owners of the dogs if they were straight or gay. They said maybe figurative shock collars could be used on men, to stop the rape culture.

When you watch Dr. Lindsay or Dr. Boghassian talk about their papers they can’t keep a straight face for 2 minutes before busting out in laughter. But the publishers of the Journals ate this stuff up. The dog park was selected for an award of outstanding scholarship by the publisher of that particular journal.

Go watch, especially you European liberals that are really ignorant on this whole subject . There’s literally hundreds of hours on this subject. You’ll begin to understand why the left can’t argue facts but tries to shut down the debate by calling people racist bigots etc etc.

Oh and one more history lesson for my highly educated liberals from the UK, the KKK was the military arm of the Democratic Party after our civil war. The KKK killed 3000 blacks and 1000 white conservatives after the civil war. We actually had several Black congressmen that were wiped out by the Democrats.
Nothing has changed today except the race that the Democrat liberals hate. Our liberals have always been racists. Woodrow Wilson showed the Birth of a Nation in the White House to rejuvenate the KKK. Democrats voted against every civil rights legislation all the way to 1964 when LBJ begrudgingly signed the civil rights bill of 1964. After LBJ signed the act he said “ we’ll have n**gers voting for us for 200 years”
Democrats voted against the 13th, 14th, and 15th amendments enforcing their racist liberal roots. So keep on defending the liberal party my UK liberal friends.

The ‘highly educated liberals’ know all that already.

That’s why they support the dEmocrat party.

Nothing is more entertaining than a foreigner telling a people with lived experience that they didn't do that and don't know what they're talking about.

It's the very picture of arrogant paternalism.

Simple really.

The one thing I think that can be pointed to as institutional racism is incarceration rates of minorities of sentences due to drug crimes. Many were imprisoned during the war on drugs thanks to omnibus crime bills pushed by the Clintons and Joe Biden. Crack coc aine became an epidemic in the inner cities with devastating results on the black community in particular.

That aside I agree with everything in the OP. It makes a clever emotional ploy that works particularly well with young people who have never experienced poverty and spent too much time being indoctrinated by leftist teachers.

If your argument about institutional racism existing in modern society has devolved into how Native Americans were treated from the 1500's to the 1860's, then I'm not sure an intelligent discussion can be had.

You could have went back a lot less further in time to Jim Crow and Slavery and actually been way more on point. But even that doesn't conflate to modern society and the laws that protect everyone based on gender identity, religion, race, etc...

I mean the Egyptians enslaved the Israelites according to the bible too, but that doesn't have much to do with the holocaust.

Excuse me, I am a middle of the political spectrum, racist and damned proud of it. The label doesnt bother me at all. And a conclusion one could draw from your posts is that you are a closet racist yourself. You hate white people and you are anti-American, which doesnt bother me because I am not an American.

I think we should just all agree to hate one another mutually, without need for labels or excuses to hate one another.

Native Americans were treated from the 1500's to the 1860's

You either wish to turn a " blind eye " to The Native American Indian issues or you actually believe that is is all as you say incorrectly " in the past ". Well it's not.

A leading United Nations human rights body has issued a report blasting the United States for its systematic abrogation of its treaties with Native Americans, stealing of reservation land, and the loss of billions of dollars of Native American money, among other things. It demanded that the United States grant American Indians and Native Hawai’ians the same basic protections under U.S. law that it grants to nonindigenous Americans

According to committee member Sir Nigel Rodley, a British law professor, “The delegates were reasonably happy discussing indigenous issues and had well-honed answers in terms of domestic policy, but those issues were not a major part of the dialogue; we were swamped by other issues.” Those other issues included the overbroad definition of terrorism in U.S. immigration laws, the existence of secret detention centers, the use of torture, poor prison standards, racial and sexual discrimination, and nearly a dozen other violations of the covenant.

www.culturalsurvival.org...

To date these issues are still unresolved

And i know exactly what your reply will be. Well " it's only The U.N. so what "

Well hard cheese, welcome to the real world.

I am trying to figure out what makes you an expert who feels qualified to lecture people on this thread.

For the life of me nothing comes to mind.

You have ignored and insulted people with first hand experience including a Native American and the OP.

You have disregarded counterpoints to your arguments and in general have been a total ass.

Hard cheese?

It's not that a citizen of the UK couldn't become an expert on these subjects. There is real, serious scholarship that can be done and actual field study too. Real scholars would do these things, but somehow, I doubt the poster in question has those sorts of credentials.

There's a reason why I don't spend a whole lot of time commenting deeply on UK type threads. It's because I'd end up looking as much like a donkey's hind end as the poster in question does right about now, but instead of learning that sometimes discretion is the better part of valor, he continues to dig his hole that much deeper. Here in the US, we'd tell him he'd eventually end up in China, but I'm not sure exactly where that end point is if you keep digging so metaphorically deep in the UK.

It does underscore the OP's point about CRT being a cult though, and the poster in question shows some of the signs.

Ten warning signs of a potentially unsafe group/leader.
Absolute authoritarianism without meaningful accountability.
No tolerance for questions or critical inquiry.
No meaningful financial disclosure regarding budget, expenses such as an independently audited financial statement.
Unreasonable fear about the outside world, such as impending catastrophe, evil conspiracies and persecutions.
There is no legitimate reason to leave, former followers are always wrong in leaving, negative or even evil.
Former members often relate the same stories of abuse and reflect a similar pattern of grievances.
There are records, books, news articles, or television programs that document the abuses of the group/leader.
Followers feel they can never be "good enough".
The group/leader is always right.
The group/leader is the exclusive means of knowing "truth" or receiving validation, no other process of discovery is really acceptable or credible.

You can see it here. He's had direct testimony from people who are living a different truth than what he's been indoctrinated into, but he directly denies it and calls those people "judenrat".

You hate white people and you are anti-American

Nope and nope.

I hate white racists, just like black racists or any other kind of racists, in fact I hate just about anyone who thinks they are better/more entitled than others for almost any reason (exemptions being most criminals). I just hate hate which yes is a bit of an oxymoron in itself and I recognise that but its still true, its how I feel.

So I am not anti-American, in fact am very much pro America, America has made a phenomenal contribution to modern society and I keep the benefits of it. Now yes there are some things I that I am "anti" that pertain to America, for example I am "anti-Trump" I am "Anti Second amendment" that doesn't make me anti-American though. I don't any problem with most Americans I meet.

Unfortunately ATS is like the bottom of the barrel, it is like quite a few far right forums that represent the very worst of Americans. Now that does not mean all members, far from it, its just the the ones that are racists, rude, wilfully ignorant , overtly arrogant, think their AR15 makes them Rambo....members like yourself I guess.

If you haven't heard of Vee, you should check this out. He does an excellent job explaining what we are seeing today with the rise of socialism and communism. The video example he uses at the beginning of the video, is exactly what we are seeing with Antifa and BLM today. Communist have been playing the long game, and their efforts are seeing fruition.

How Democrats/Progressives are sooo brainwashed and blind to this baffles me.

Thankfully we have an assclown like yourself who doesn't even live in the the US to tell us how racist we all are.

Also many, many Black Americans say they live in a racist society. I have no reason to disbelieve them.

Actually, the ones yelling about it are a rather small group overall. MANY black posters of a wide range of ages & economic/income class backgrounds on this very god damn forum have expressed the exact opposite of what is claimed, and I wholeheartedly believe THEM over the talking heads and mouth breathers rioting. Hell, the minorities as a whole, not even just the blacks, in my neighborhood have zero racism complaints and call the BLM claims utter bull#, openly.

Cut the crap and quit being a race baiter like it's a title of honor. It's disgusting and not winning you any allies.
