It seems the Nov 3 election will include the mayor of Portland. With his stellar ability to integrate with his base, and move about the city as a folk hero, his re-election should be a shoe in.

The big question is, are the people of Portland stupid enough to support the failed leadership that brought them to this level of awful? I'd like to think that even in a liberal wasteland, there would be some intelligent voters who realize how pathetic their current mayor is.

I'm not sure which of the candidates have the ability to enact change, but at this point, anyone with a pulse stands a good chance to be a better leader than Ted.

I wouldn't count on it.

Idiots will vote for the same people who put them in this mess because the MSM tells them that Republicans are racist and they don't want to be racist.

Progressive peer pressure. I see it at work. Anything bad MUST be the Republicans fault even though there are no Republicans controlling anything at the state and local level.

Yes. I’m dying to see how far they can take this utopia of theirs. Please show me the magical land where nobody’s mean but always offended, no police, no showers, just a smelly utopia of socialism where hopefully somebody works and donates it’s all back.

Funny you say that. Sarah Iannarone is their candidate, per Andy Ngo.

Portland is lost. It has been lost for years. Its is such a wonderful utopia! just ask all the homeless in the park. If you vote for the leaders in this city you have voted for the issues you are having now. Nobody to blame but yourselves.
