It seems the Nov 3 election will include the mayor of Portland. With his stellar ability to integrate with his base, and move about the city as a
folk hero, his re-election should be a shoe in.
The big question is, are the people of Portland stupid enough to support the failed leadership that brought them to this level of awful? I'd like to
think that even in a liberal wasteland, there would be some intelligent voters who realize how pathetic their current mayor is.
I'm not sure which of the candidates have the ability to enact change, but at this point, anyone with a pulse stands a good chance to be a better
leader than Ted.
