Trump's words:

"They are going to have to check their vote by going to the poll and voting that way because if it tabulates, then they won't be able to do that. So let them send it in, and let them go vote. And if their system is as good as they say it is, then obviously they won't be able to vote. If it isn't tabulated, they will be able to vote. So that's the way it is, and that's what they should do."

Trump is telling people to vote twice, in order to check the system. If the system works, he figures, you shouldn't be able to vote twice. He asking people to commit felony voter fraud, by voting twice, in order to prove his claim that voter fraud is rampant.

Later, after he's under fire, Trump and his minions try to walk back his ask. But, no matter how you look at it, voting twice in this election is a felony.

Here in Ohio on the application for a mail in ballot it states that if you receive a mail in ballot you can still vote at your polling location on Election Day on a provisional ballot. This is so the board of elections can confirm that they did not receive your mail in ballot before counting the provisional. If the mail in ballot was received then the provisional ballot will be rejected and destroyed.


On the SOTU Address copy: It is the President’s copy that is filed as per National Archives. However if Trump physically signed her copy, it is still an official record subject to archival rules.

I believe it will go about as far as the Hilary 'investigation' went .... nowhere.
