The situation in Japan is very severe at the moment.
Many companies are folding up everyday.
Homeless is very big problem now in Tokyo and Osaka.

Many young people are leaving the big cities to move back to the family.

Here in my community I see many out of prefecture license plates.

They're just really isn't any more jobs in a big city

The economy in Australia has also been hit. Melbourne is getting it the worst as extreme lock downs talk place. Cannot travel more than 5km from home. Only allowed out for 1 hour a day. Must wear a mask, even if a piece of dirty paper.

The national boarder lock downs are causing all kinds of dramas as the state governments have a panic attack against each other. Really tough on the people that live near the boarder. A virus does not care about a line on a map.

For someone who actually lives in Asia, how can you be so misinformed?

You live there yet nothing you say is true. Japan is in a recession yet their economy is still the 3rd largest in the world and the gdp is down only 7%. Compared to say, America, they're in amazing shape.

Japan's primary business is technologies, and demand for tech always increases or flatlines, never spirals down.
It's at a stand still right now because of the current pandemic, it's just logistical losses, not a collapse.

It take years to build a successful business, the doors can shut overnight. Once it is gone it does take a while to start things backup.

The state government is being very selective in the use of the word 'essential'. To say all the private industry workers are 'non essential' is to effectively say they do not matter, ignore them. Just lock them up in there home, censor and harass anyone that speaks up about it.

What happens when a state fails to hold its responsibilities to the people that elected them?

Those "logistical losses" are happening to real people. They're losing their businesses and life savings. People are hurting, and the worst part is, much of it could have been avoided. The whole world dropped the ball on this one and it's not over yet.

I worked as a contractor post navy, up and down Japan. Yes, small businesses are not the government priority, but there are enough big businesses to keep Japan competitive especially in rare earth materials for semiconductors ( unless China decides to keep everything to themselves)

Japan is not collapsing anytime soon.

Unfortunately national economies are often tangent if not directly tied to one another....

Nope, he lives there too, just like in the US.

What he says is law, like Twitter with Uzaki-chan.
