This is all BS - don't waste your time worrying about this. Any mark you make - **ANY** mark you make, if you intend it to be a signal of your assent to a contract, is considered a signature.

"X marks the spot" - in the old days some contracts would have a signature line like "X ___________________" for people who couldn't write. The person would mark an "X" in front of a witness who would then sign the markers name for him/her.

You can even authorize someone else to sign documents for you, and that's legally binding.

The only way to avoid your signature as assent on a document is to prove you were under actual duress, which is going to have to be imminent threat of bodily harm to yourself or another.

There is no secret symbol of "under duress I sign this so it doesn't count."

I’ve seen this video so many times and never once noticed the hair line!

Watching that with a different perspective than before...they did actually look extremely rushed and disheveled.
