Soon it will be legal to kill those who voted for trump if Biden's elected.

(May be a "worst case" scenario, but still. . . . . )

Has he been positively identified as a white supremacist or are you just assuming it?

Also you replied to a poster that carding concealed os an escalation. You weren't talking about the 17 year old in the story

He was defending himself. He was attacked by a mob, which constitutes deadly force. They attempted to take his firearm, which also constitutes deadly force.

IE: he was defending himself and all other factors are not relevant. Someone's political beliefs don't determine whether or not its acceptable to use violence against them.

This is very simple. He used deadly force to repel the individual(s) using deadly force against him.

Shots Fired At Trump Supporting Families In SC.

Just another day in gun obsessed America, isn't it?

I personally doubt a single minute ever goes by in the US without some moron firing off shots for some random reason.

But if you can somehow tie it to politics, all of a sudden it becomes news worthy.

while what you say is true and makes for a good sensationalized headline, gun deaths in America have been increasing year on year since 2004, so I dont think the 2016 election has had as big a bearing as some believe

in 2004 it was at 29,569 and each subsequent year there has been an increase, until matching the levels of 1993 with just over 39,000 in 2017

Number of firearm deaths in the United States from 1990 to 2017

In 2016, there were 38,658 fatalities caused by injuries related to firearms in the United States. This figure has remained relatively steady over the past 25 years, with 37,155 firearm deaths in 1990, and a slight dip in fatalities between 1999 and 2002.

Those numbers also count accidents and suicides, which do not count as "violence" in the sense you are misleading portraying it

Is it acceptable to take a cue from the exciteable asshats on the Left and just come right out the gate here with calling the shooter an obvious black supremecist terrorist and say the US has a serious problem with these people and something must be done about them?

That's a reactionary band aid though.

We need to address root causes here - like putting the MSM liars in prison for treason first.

I’ve been thinking that for many months now. How is any of what is going on legal? Our media is blatantly trying to overthrow the government. Purposeful lies from the media shouldn’t be protected

They are committing treason every day by using the media to run a coup.

Guess you were so desperate you pulled the "Race Card" over the title of an article before reading it?

The attackers he defended himself against. You know, the folks that took the street temperature challenge.

It starts out with a mob chasing him, knocking him down, trying to take his firearm and intending to inflict on him what can reasonably be described as grave bodily harm or death.

Its self defense, clear cut.

You would have him submit to the mob, take his beating, give up his gun to be shot with or worse........? How inappropriate.

How about going after the bad guys for a change. HINT: It isn't this 17 year old.

Its irrelevant.

Someone's beliefs don't determine whether violence is acceptable against them or not.

When you act as a mob, a disparity of force exists that elevates any physical threat to the level of a deadly threat. Under the law, the mob is acting as a single entity during each instance of deadly force being used.

Additionally, attempting to take someone's firearm is another act of deadly force. It is reasonable to believe the person attempting to take his firearm would use that to shoot and kill him. The level of violence already displayed by those individuals only reinforces this.

That is 100% factual and correct

These pussies seem to think that some great ‘wrong’ has been perpetrated against them. They’re pathetic.

Supporting President Trump is absolutely acceptable. It’s the exact opposite to supporting fascism and intolerance.

Ignore the lies

He was a BLUE LIVES MATTER patriot!

"Since when did we start listening to these people anyhow?"

This is exactly like the horrors perpetuated against the McClosky's. Biden and the democrats want to criminalize self defense! They want to normalize mob violence against dissenters.

We better stand up and be counted now folks while we still have the chance to

He was not defending himself from anybody.

That is why he is facing a murder charge. You do realise that ?

He's facing a murder charge because of democrat "woke" politicans who are actively attempting to discourage self defense by law abiding citizens against criminal mobs.

Watch and rewatch the video.

What do you call being chased down by a mob?
What do you call being physically attacked by the same mob?
What do you call someone taking your firearm?

These are objective facts. The objective reality is demonstrated by the video. Fortunately for those reading here, this reality exists totally outside of mere opinion, ideology, etc. It is factually true he was actively being criminally victimized, and then used deadly force after no less than 2 instances of deadly force was used against him. Although sane states require no retreat, he even attempted to retreat toward police but the bloodthirsty criminal mob kept pursuing him to carry out their premediated violent intentions.

Like I said, clear cut. I'd have done the same thing in his shoes. Although I live in a sane STYG/Castle doctrine state.

There is no denial. You're making the allegation, but provide no evidence other than some corny headline? Realize it isn't true until you prove its true, despite saying it ad nauseum.

It doesn't matter anyhow. It wouldn't constitute a justification to use violence against him, even if what you say is totally true.

However, a search of his social media reveals connections only to the patriot BLUE LIVES MATTER movement. So unless your IBtimes pulled that out of its rear end (and they probably did), there's no objective reason to believe its true.

Objectivity. Objectivity. Objectivity.

In WI they don't have anything like Stand Your Ground on their lawbooks.

"The general rule is that there is no affirmative duty to retreat, unless the individual provoked the confrontation. This general rule mirrors the self-defense statute. Let’s assume the individual provoked the attack. He is generally cannot claim self-defense. The only exception is when he believes he exhausted all other means of escape from the death or great bodily harm.

For example, in Wisconsin, you started a fight. Shooter pulls out a gun in response to your physical and verbal actions. Again, you started the fight. Because of that, you must have a duty to retreat because you provoked the confrontation."

He may have had a duty to retreat, assuming he committed some unlawful act to provoke the confrontation in the first place. Remember, offensive words and ideology never constitute a provocation under the law.

But even if he did, he would then have a duty to retreat.... which the fine camera-work shows he did.

In fact, he never stopped trying to retreat.

Given the objective reality captured on film, there is no scenario in which he did anything wrong here.
