I'm sure that you all have seen the length that the New Jersey Governor went to shut down one gym.

That isn't an isolated case. In my State, our Governor mandated that all Bars and Restaurants are limited to 25% of capacity. They are not allowed to serve alcohol unless food is purchased.

I'm President of a small social club. We shut down along with everybody else in March. We were allowed to open at 50% capacity in June and then had to shutdown in July when the Governor's mandate came out for two reasons. One, we didn't have a copy of our occupancy permit that said how many people we were allowed to have in the building. A Liquor Control Officer said that it looked like we could have 20 people, so that would restrict us to 4 customers and a bartender. Two, we didn't have a license to serve food so we didn't meet that requirement.

Last Fall we applied to the County for a license to serve food. We were told that our kitchen was not up to par. We took a vote and budgeted money to upgrade the kitchen. The County Health Department actually assisted us in the rebuild. We had all of the officers and employees become Certified Food Handlers. We installed a state of the art refrigerator and freezer that were designed to help us keep records of their temperatures. Three weeks ago we got our license to serve food. I had requested a copy of our occupancy permit and found that we were allowed 60 people. That gave us 14 customers and 1 bartender. That was our average before the shutdown. We got certified copies of both and sent them to Liquor Enforcement stating that we intended to re-open September 1st. We figured out a seating layout that allowed us to have 14 people without violating the 6 foot rule, we got anti-microbial filters for our ventilation system and we installed sneeze shields at the cash register area.

We have complied totally. Yesterday we got a letter from Liquor Enforcement stating that since we received our license to serve food after the "state of emergency" they are not recognizing it and if we re-open they will suspend our liquor license. In the same batch of mail, we got our quarterly charge for our liquor license.

It has nothing to do with health or safety. It has to do with control. The liquor license is the one thing that the Governor has complete control over. He wants to inconvenience and piss off as many people as possible and then blame it on Trump. He has also stated that he is afraid that if we show signs of recovery too soon the State will lose their emergency funding from the Federal Government.

congrats on making all that progress. If you know a good lawyer, ask him if it's constitutionally OK for them to do to you what they are doing. then file a lawsuit. If your lawyer is good, he will do it pro-bono and make a good check for all involved.

I don't remember a Covid rider in the Bill of rights.

Can’t have people acting normal just yet. They still have to try to force the 47 year failure (Joe Biden) on us.

Hang in till 11/4/2020 and things will be alright.

Oh yeah, vote Trump!!

Why comply?

What's freedom worth?

It seems legit to just go full revolt now.

Oh wait that'll make me a Commie huh?

See how perfect that pigeon holed ppl into having no option but to comply or die fighting the cops to the death?

Speak to a lawyer a.s.a.p. or look at regulation laws for yourself.

Not only is this sketchy, it may be against the law.

It's shocking to me.

Y'all honestly believe these courts will exist in 18 months?

This winter is going to hit every economy in the northern hemisphere and spiral us into whatever the hell they got planned.

Sure file the suit just in case, but don't be a fool and get your hopes up. We will never return to normal and this winter were gonna lock down harder core than anyone ever imagined possible.

The whole global economy is being reshuffled and all constitutional law systems are being obsoleted and overridden by the WHO medical hysteria.

Everyone surrendered to their Mighty Rule without a fight and it took months for ppl to even criticize or question it they were so afraid.

I dont believe it's about control.
That's cuz "they" always have control and everyone obeys mindlessly.

Covid is a manifestation of TPTB's psyche.

I'll explain.
The US dollar was deflating in value drastically. As oil is cheaper, the US dollar is more valued.

So the FED needed to stop deflation.
The only way to do that is to debase the currency through excessive printing $.

In order to justify creating trillions of new dollars way ahead of schedule they needed a justification even tho I believe fighting deflation is an acceptable cause.

The reason deflation is always a problem is because money disappears out of circulation daily due to ppl saving it, losing it, getting it destroyed, etc.

And the mega Corps are sucking the US dollars out of the economy and disappearing it into their portfolios. That daily circulation decreases rapidly as mega Corps disappear all the cash.

So we have to print trillions of new dollars lest we have so little cash that even a new car cost 200$.

The Feds job is entirely to prevent economic instability by managing the flow of currency and determining taxation.

I say Covid is a manifestation of the bosses psyche because they are so deep in lies that's all they know to do anymore. Lie lie lie.

They can't just come out honest and say "we need to print more money to stop extreme deflation", cuz that'd be too easy and we'd all debate it endlessly and by the time we finally agreed the economy would be trashed.

No, they're scared and needed to act fast. They planned the whole covid thing probably about this time last year right as they began organizing the hypothetical scenario squad to determine how it'd play out.

So they do what they do. They lie about everything even if the truth fares them better. They are incapable of honesty. It's that simple.

They used Covid to skip the debate process we usually go thru with new policy.

Fear/Crisis always is the excuse of those wanting to skip the public debate process. False flag etc

Starting this week they've begun issuing fines to people who host or attend private parties here. Over $2000 for the host and up $250 for guests or something. There are 800 active cases in the province currently, 13 of which are hospitalized and in total there's been 200 deaths here.

Apparently there were zero cases associated with any protests happening here, cases have been dropping weekly, yet as of this week measures have increased to mandatory masks in businesses along with new fines for infractions on top of the party stuff.

How anyone can say this is for health and safety is just beyond me. That takes a special kind of self-delusional mental gymnastics to believe that #.

A lawsuit is useless. The Governor has total control over State licensing. That's already been determined by the Court. He's on his second term and can't run for re-election so he doesn't care. He sees bigger things for himself, that's why he's got his head so far up the DNC's a$$ that he tastes their food before they do.

Financially we can take the hit and ride it out. Our main problem is that we are a neighborhood club. We have a group of elderly members who come over in the afternoon for a beer or a glass of wine. We make sure that we get a good meal into them and look them over. Last year one of our members who is a nurse caught the signs of a stroke in one woman and got her to the hospital in time so there were no permanent effects. We've been making meals and taking them to them even when we are closed.

The groups who are really being hurt by this are the volunteer fire departments. They've lost all fund raising capability. Our club usually donates $10,000 to $15,000 a year, not to mention the raffle tickets that we sell for them. What pisses me off is when you do the math this is just a bad flu season. Nothing special.

We could lessen our order of 2300+ F-35 aircraft by 1 or 2 jets and pay for the fire departments in every county in the USA...

They are spending 2.3 trillion $ + on ONE weapons system.

Anyone that ever studied war knows you NEVER EVER put all the eggs in one basket.

I propose we change our order from 2300 jets to 2295 and I'll use those few billion to fix half our problems in less than 3 years.

I'm probably the only human capable or restructuring this order to fund our infrastructure projects and services, I feel like anyone else would get led off track by the MIC representatives that would hound them to renegotiate.

Strategically fighting an enemy head on is almost always a horrible decision. It's far better to convert them intellectually if possible. I think I could change any admiral or generals opinion in under 30minutes on this topic.

So in a way, Im glad they can't get charity now. Why the hell doesn't the govt cover firefighters fully? Wtf!?

Sometimes bad things must happen to get rid of bad situations. And a fire department relying on charity? That's a horrible situation and needs to change immediately.

This Govt sends BILLIONS $ overseas to our enemies who hate us meanwhile it's up to me to save the Fire dept? Oh # that. It's time to watch everything burn I guess. This is unbelievable...

State licensing has always been about control and extorting taxes out of businesses (as well as preventing competition).

I started a small food business that has been doing well and you wouldn't believe the hoops we had to jump through to sell our product in Chicago.

The leftist big govt surrogates are most certainly using local regulatory power to implement a larger plan of damaging the economy to try to win back an election.

There is absolutely no reason for this hysteria and lock down.

Why the Federal Government? Defense is part of their mandate, not fire fighting. Our State wastes enough money every year to cover this. Volunteer Departments have been funded this way for decades.

Oh so its cool to spend trillions on bs but not a penny on firefighting which is DEFENSE against fire?

Well, enjoy the fires.

This all boils down to the fact you're so stubborn that you'll end up with no fire defense and you're even politically against the solution.

This is why we have so many problems. People are unwilling to compromise...

Fire and police are LOCAL issues which is why every community has their own police department. The feds being involved is essentially having the military doing law enforcement. No one wants that...

The problem we have now is that the federal government is trying to do too much... States have abdicated their responsibilities in order to get federal dollars.
