As someone who has had nearly all of their ideals and beliefs hijacked by this cult for corporate-political gain, I find it as offensive as it is dangerous.

They setup perpetual funding machines to exploit and weaponize peoples ideals. Its brilliant, really.

Environmentalism, animal welfare, poverty, feeding the hungry, Anarchism, decentralization, and so many more, have been cultivated to be perceived as only being achievable/solvable by supporting and funding the exact same global organizations. Organizations that only give token gestures of "help," eliminate any talk or ideas that might actually solve the issues, and hide behind a veneer of philanthropy and good will.

Each nation may have different subjugation tactics, and the US is a major pillar in the framework they want to take down, but its all a move to absolute, global centralized dependency.

So many think they are working towards their ideals by supporting these groups and their derivatives, but they absolutely are not. They are just addicted to the process of modern information and voyeurism.

Does the sanctity of NATO, fighting human caused climate change and Trump's cuddling up to dictators...have anything to do about anybody being a "never Trumper"? Me thinks it has a lot to do with it.

“The sanctity of nAto”???? Ha ha haaaa!

Next we’ll be told that the u.n is an important organisation. Or that the w.h.o is an authority on health.

When you stand far away from the forest you can see it's a forest , when you're in the forest all you can see is trees

As leader of the free world we have an interest in the US president , his actions effect us too.

Yes, and apparently, all you are shown are his blooper reels. If you aren't just shown that, then I have pity on the intellect of the UK.

Again, he says dumb things. But he has done some pretty amazing things too. yet all we hear from the haters is, well, hate.

Honestly, do you ever see anything good shown about him?

Thats a failed analogy if you’re seeing the forest through the lense of the bias propaganda media. Do you honestly think that you’re being fed the facts in Germany about how the American people actually feel about our situation here? The truth may surprise you.

We have access to twitter and live streams over here too , don't assume that everybody who doesn't support your belief is controlled by the media.

I'm British , I don't live in Germany we won the war.

In ideal, "normal" times, I would agree with you. In the context of current times, I feel he might be nearly perfect.

Before he was elected, my thought was that he is a narcissist that wants to go down as the best president in history. That narcissism would mean he would be much less likely to be suborned, because he wants *his* name on that tower and he wants it to *mean* something.

I havent seen anything that really changes that analysis, and he has actually shown a good level of restraint when he has had opportunities to really flex the power that has been given the executive branch over the years. Nevermind that these opportunities were bait..

On the other "side," we have a social group that has their reality defined by mainstream media (online & broadcast) and social media censorship. I have been very concerned about this for years, and this year really amped that up. As the manipulation gets more & more severe, more will wake up.. but those remaining will be more zealous and aggressive than ever. Its a pretty standard phase in building a cult, but I dont think we have ever seen one on this scale before.

All that aside, I dont believe politics delivers what people think it does. Its not some all encompassing solution, it just (ideally) provides a stable framework for the residents of a nation to thrive on their own terms. They provide the framework, we provide the actual progress or fortification of what works.

For the democrats, I see behavior like this story. I see language that directly mimics the marketing of global, perpetual funding machines that require us to tear down our framework and replace it with theirs. I see direct participation of high level officials in incredibly illegal acts, fostering destabilization in their regions, and extraordinary levels of duplicitousness. *All* covered up by the media and big tech companies.

As someone who strongly feels that decentralized self-sufficiency with modern tech is our best path forward.. The re-election of Trump is more likely to lead to making that a reality, even if no politician directly appeals to me.

I do believe that behavior like this OP, riots, assaults, doxxing, harassment, etc. will continue to increase either way, so thats a factor for me too.

When was the last time a thread was started about the Queen or the multiple Prime ministers or Presidents? Or the racism in other countries? The abject poverty around the world? None nada it's in vogue in other countries to demonize the orange man. The orange man farts and the oceans rise and million die. I know this is a global site, with that said we in America will bash our leaders, but take offense when a non American who don't live here do so.

I have been wondering if a "Trump" was inevitable, people tired of being run by what has gotten so corrupt.

No doubt in my mind. Love him or hate him Russell nails your thoughts on this and why a “Trump” was inevitable. I strongly suggest taking the 7 mins and watching this video. I don’t necessarily agree with every single thing he said but it’s very accurate in many ways as to why Trump became prez.

I was exclusively referring to trade, nothing much stops, companies need materials, they just pay more for them after a tariff..and that trickles down obviously.

As for NATO, countries should pay their share.

then what drives people from thousands of miles away separated by vast oceans, to feel the need to adopt such a strong attitude about American politics?

Which people are you referring, any specific countries, or just the "international anti-trump crowd" as a whole?

This isn’t about my beliefs.

This is what I’m talking about. Twitter for facts? Twitter is so full of bots, paid agitators and people that just want to purposely divide and misinform the public that it’s a joke for much of anything that resembles credible news. Not saying all of it but a large majority of it can’t be taken serious, unless you’re really that gullible. .....and live streams of what?

Didn’t your location used to say Germany? I could’ve sworn it did.
