Is there anything else you want to be wrong about today

Looks like you have a monopoly on getting things wrong.

The U.S. does not carry out more tests for Covid than other countries. You are behind Israel, Russia and The U.K.

www.statista.com...
Only China has done more tests in total, and its per capita testing is minuscule. U.S. per capita testing is rapidly increasing. We recently surpassed the UK in per capita testing and will soon surpass both Russia and Israel, both of which have slim leads on us.

And you think that’s going to come from the miserable and hateful left? What do they have that’s going to make this country better?

Have I said that?

Just because I think Trump is unfit to serve in the Office he currently occupies why do you assume that I think the alternative is any better?

Why do you have such a locked in perspective on politics?
It's not about left/right all the time.

Back in December we in the UK had truly appalling options in our General Election; neither Boris Johnson or Jeremy Corbyn were/are fit to serve as Prime Minister and the Liberal Undems had proven themselves thoroughly unsuitable too.
No other party was a serious contender.
Shocking options.

The options available to the American electorate certainly seem no better.
In fact, and I never thought this would be possible, they seem worse!

When you bash a country and their prez as you’ve done and then follow it by “we/US can do better” one would assume you would rather see the other party in charge. My apologies to you if that assumption is wrong. A lot of posters here, especially ones from other countries have put many of us on the defensive. I’m sick of hearing my country and prez being bashed by people who don’t live here and who’s only view is from the MSM,Twitter and FB.

You know, I know and the world knows our choices could be better but at the moment they are what they are. Millions of people, self included, think Trump’s doing or at least trying to do everything he said he would and we finally have a prez that’s trying to stand up for the American people’s rights and wishes, that’s why he is where he is and why he was elected. There was and is NO other party option willing to do that, regardless of what they say. Proof has been in the dems actions for decades, they’ve failed in their communities, education and have allowed their cities to go to # with violence and crime.

That’s why maybe you perceive me as being”locked”, we have no other alternatives at the moment and I’m not going to watch my country get flushed down the crapper. Which is exactly what the left has been doing and will continue to do. This is why I’m so adamant and probably over defensive at times when it comes to the future and well being of my country. Again I’m sorry if I incorrectly lumped you in the left/right body bag, my defenses like others here are on high alert.

The man is arrogant, disrespectful, bullying, dismissive and talks complete and utter sh!te.
He sucks up to Russia and Saudi Arabia then seeks to take the moral high ground with everyone else.
He has scrapped perfectly good and reasonable trade and other agreements with nations purely because they were drafted under the previous administration as he has an unhealthy obsession with his predecessors.
He thinks he can bully and intimidate other nations and their leaders.
He feels free to comment on anything and everything in other countries yet stamps his feet like a petulent child if anyone dares comment on American events or issues.
He behaves like a spoiled brat and sacks anyone who dares to have a different opinion to him.
His paranoid and delusional ramblings have alienated the US from the rest of the world.

The man is completely out of his depth and has a scatter gun approach to governing with no structure or forethought.

Trump has raised himself up on to a pedestal broadcasting his own greatness for everyome to wonder at claiming glory for all his alleged magnificent successes yet bleats like a little baby and cries foul if anyone has the temerity to question his glory and majesty or his alleged achievements.

His ramblings on Twitter do not befit the great Office he currently occupies and his ever so frequent foot-in-mouthisms from which he never learns and his forgetfulness and inability to keep his train of thought resemble a man who is out of his depth.

His imagining enemies everywhere is similar to the paranoia displayed by delusional leaders throughout history.

Without going into too much depth those are the things that spring immediately to mind.

All I got from that is that he's gotten out of trade deals and has actually renegotiated new trade deals.

First off, this isn't a USA site, this is a world wide site, so I am not complaining about views for other nations. Other areas perspective is a great thing in some cases. But if not complaining due to job requirements, then what drives people from thousands of miles away separated by vast oceans, to feel the need to adopt such a strong attitude about American politics?

I'm sure there is something driving this, and I'd like to know what it is. Is the telly telling you about the bad orange man? Is the political spectrum were you live so bland and boring that you have to take your game on the road? is your nation all squared away and in such good shape there just isn't anything to complain about?

Because we paid for everyone elses problems, and none of us want too anymore.

The Internet rose from the World Wide Web, which was invented by a British engineer and computer scientist, Tim Berners-Lee en.wikipedia.org... in 1983. The actual governing body of the Internet is ICANN which is not American.

And right now, sadly, the only thing that the US is #1 in is COVID-19 cases and in number of COVID-19 deaths. Thank you Donald Trump.

You know why were #1 in Covid? Because we test more than any other country on the planet. Thus you have more cases. If Obama were running the show you'd be praising him even tho the results are same. You're also wrong about the Internet. Is there anything else you want to be wrong about today?

and that's why you have the most dead? by the way, china is number 1 in testing.
And yet the UK, Sweden, Belgium, Spain and Italy all have higher rates of covid19 death than America. France has a slightly lower death rate. You see, we have the third-largest population in the world here — 330 million people. And most of the travelers who brought the virus to America came from Europe. Thanks a lot, Europe! You’re a never-ending source of trouble for us.

But he himself isn't actually doing very much really is he.....apart from making a complete arse of himself on a worringly regular basis.
Not learning from your mistakes is a somewhat worrying trait in any 74 year old.....its a major cause for concern in a 74 year old POTUS!

I have to ask, in all seriousness, what has Trump done that is so terrible?

Let's just both agree that what he says is often stupid, I'll caveat to that.

But what has he done that is so terrible?

IMO the major one is abandonning the Kurds and failing to even notify allies when the US was doing a temporary evacuation of Syria to allow Turkey to continue their genocide against Kurdish civilians. It was a strategic, diplomatic and humanitarian cluster#.

It led to 40,000+ civillians dead mainly by summary execution, tens of thoudands tortured, villages burned to the ground, the displacement of ~ 180,000, Turkish backed millitias freeing thoussands of ISIS fighters from Kurdish jails, hundreds of pallets full of weapons and ammo landing in the hands of ISIS, disruption of the US, UK, French and Kurdish operation to kill Baghdadi.

Anyone with basic awareness of Turkey's treatment of the Kurds would have known it'd be an obvious consequence of Trump's actions, it's not as if Erdogan was trying to hide his genocidal aims or support of ISIS. The decision by Trump was made out of pure ignorance and knee-jerk reactions rather than malice; however it's those two behaviours that make him unfit for office.

At least globally speaking, if I lived in the US I'd likely vote for Trump this time round as he seems the right person to rescue the economy post Covid before the usual lot chime in with 'TDS' claims instead of thought out counter arguments.

Not nearly as irrelevant as a wanbe aging socialist with nothing to offer

Me a 'socialist'?
You really haven't got a clue have you.

And I've never really thought that anything I say or do has any sort of relevance or importance at all.....unlike some who think they are so wise and important yet whose own words reveal them to be anything but.

You lot need another smack?

What, are YOU going to deliver it?

Ha ha ha....I literally pissed myslef laughing.
Are you for real?

Do you want people to take you seriously or just continue being considered a laughing stock?

Who hasn't whooped you at this point?

More to the point; who has?
Please enlighten us all.....or just continue posting nonsense with nothing whatsoever to support your ramblings.

Even the tiny faulklands got theirs.

What on earth is this supposed to mean?
Again, please enlighten us.

Yet again you prove your inability to offer anything whatsoever to the topic under discussion and are unable to enter in to reasoned debate.
Your lame, predictable and highly inaccurate attempts at sarcastic barbs are truly lamentable.

MUST TRY HARDER

but what policy moves has he made that had bad outcomes?

The thread is about why non-American's dislike Trump....those are SOME of the reasons why I personally do.
I'm not really informed enough about many of his domestic policies to give any sort of qualified opinion on them.

But I do know the US system of government is a very complex machine and a President can only have so much control of domestic law making etc.
Many argue that other people - Senators and what not - are in fact responsible for many of the 'achievements' which Trump takes credit for.
As I said before I can't really comment on that.

While your rant was long winded, you will notice not many will disagree with it.

I do have a tendency to go on a bit....but I was asked for my reasons and I didn't think 'because the man is a complete and total knobhead' was anywhere near enough detail.

There is just more to this than being a pretty face and kissing asses correctly.

Without a doubt.

I dont believe that comparisons across nations are particularly useful. Im not even sure that comparing regions in a nation is useful.

Best way to analyze it in context is by looking at previous "flu" seasons in a given region. Then examine if excess deaths (if present at all) can be explained by actions that differ from previous seasons, like NYC.

And yet, even you can visit the white house today.

I suspect far more Americans choose or wish to visit Buckingham Palace and the many other Royal sites in the UK than Brits wish to see The White House.

None of them appeal to me very much.

ETA.

Look out, the Russians are coming for your elections!

That has been explained in the relevant thread.....and yet again it is proven that people chose to ignore explanations that go against their preconceived and locked in perspective.
