For whatever reason, glowing orbs seem to be the hot ufo at the moment. This was one of the subjects of last week's episode of "Inidentified", as they interviewed a Pilot of a major airline who came in contact with a glowing orb over Arizona recently.

The man and his wife were trying to take pictures of comet Neowise, when a bright light in the sky caught his attention. He saw no blinking lights associated with planes, nor heard any noise.

Very bright light.

My wife and I were out in our back yard taking pics of comet Neowise. She had gone to sit down. I noticed a bright light with what appeared to be a light bluish beam far off to the west. I went back and got the camera from my wife and started filming as it began to pass over the area. She did not see it due to where she was sitting. I had gone further into the back yard away from the trees so I could get a better view. It seemed about 1500 feet up traveling from west to east, there was no noise coming from it at all. It was as bright as burning magnesium but with what seemed to be a bluish tint. There were no blinking lights like normal aircraft. I have been an amateur astronomer for about 35 years and have never seen anything like this before.

Don't know what that is but he got a fantastic video! I would love to see something like that IRL!

Me too, I would have followed it if possible.

My first guess would be the ISS. We had a very good view of it in Ohio that night from approximately 10:03 until10:09. He did say he's been an amateur astronomer for 35 years, so I would imagine he'd know if it was the ISS or not. Also, it says he filmed it at around 2315.

This is what iss looks like from your backyard

Not a bight purple almost blinding object rushing over the treetops.

Looks like it is illuminating the trees underneath it in purple at the end of the video

That guy sent me the video originally via email.

The title of the video said July 18, 2018.

I asked him to clarify if he actually shot the video this year and why his video was titled 2018.

I got some weird answer, spoke with Steve Greenstreet about it and showed him the screen shots.
I checked the meta data and sure enough it says July 18, 2020.
But it's also simple to edit that metadata.
His choice of filter he used also was a red flag.

There's something not right about the guys explanation.

This is the original video title.

The KIF are the owners initials.
Not to mention, the hour on his camera was off at the time of shooting this.
It was 1 hour behind I believe.
He sent me a screenshot showing the cameras time and the offset.
After I asked him about the 2018, and the answers I got, I left it at that and chalked it up to the ISS, with a filter used by most nighttime "UFO" watchers that post the videos to youtube.

And the light on the trees is most likely a coincidence from the headlights of an on coming vehicle.

Could be real (just basing this on some stuff a friend told once in RL that was a lot like that video. At least I think his description was the same although not so close and in the woods somewhere in MI.) but in his case the smaller parts shot of in different directions and I believe he said the large one left slowly. They were purple also.

a reply to: Macenroe82Just as an aside his voice is kinda similar to that guy who pointed lasers at airplanes say.... 8 years ago or so with some younger woman with him. Looks like aftereffects too me.

Is there another smaller orb buzzing around the main ship too? Something's going on

Another thing I found was that in the video, we can briefly see what appear to be navigation lights from an airliner.

I checked Flightradar24 for that night and area.
Nothing in the sky on radar.
That can be due to a couple of things, but it added to my initial thoughts.

That is a lens flare or reflection flare from the window or possible double pane window. Notice the same on the moon toward the end.
