Joe laid on his back, bleeding, his abdomen wide open. The pain had been excruciating at first, however numbness had descended across his body as the wolf pack slowly engorged themselves at the feast. He had taken his family camping, to give them a taste of the outdoors. What a tremendous mistake that had been. He watched as the wolves attacked his wife and 2 daughters. He had fought but was overwhelmed by the shear force. As he slowly closed his eyes his last view was that of the campfire and the wolf tales as they ate his daughter.

could have made it better with 200-300 words, but alas 100 words this is what you get

Very creepy story and you have me to thank for the
word limit!

I love the wide open spaces of the 100 word limit.

Remember that 50 word limit contest?
That was some cramped space!

In all fairness, a good story puts you in the situation, allows you to visualize the environment, and elicits an emotion. Did it do that? If that didn't turn your stomach, well sorry, guess I'll try again next time. If it did all the above, then I did my job
. I usually like writing horror, or satire. So you can pretty much expect that from me.

Cheers,

Camain
