No it’s because people like Como slaughtered the elderly intentionally .

Most other countries, like yours, pale in comparison to the size and population of the US. Pretty easy to figure out.

China turned it around. They have a population more than 4 times that of the USA.

The argument on population size is invalid.

People are getting sick still anyway.

I still think allowing doctors to use the HCQ Z-pack Zinc treatmemt will cut a lot of that way down.

Less people are dying now and again see above and I think less still would.

I know you will disagree with me on that but it's not like we dont use those drugs safely already...why not try.

Also thanks for the Latin lesson I took Spanish in school so I'm bad at Latin save the most common of phrases.

It isn't true that less people are dying now.

The numbers of dead per day in the USA has been rising (but it oscillates a lot) since late May.

Experience I guess...just because a thing isn't proven in a peer reviewed study doesn't mean its not real or doesn't exist.

What are your options anyway? Do nothing or take a chance on something that isnt harmful unless you have heart issues or an allergy. To me its a no brainer...you take the chance.

Pages of google results talking about patients being denied HCQ

Yes I’ve considered it and with this new news I don’t give a crap .

If it is 10 times more contagious and less fatal.

I hope it burns through the population like a wildfire .

But from repeatedly reading your positions over the last months. I guess it’s safe to assume you would prefer it’s slowly goes through the population killing as many people as it can .

The new strain is more infectious because it has more spike proteins on its outer surface. This means that contact with a cell is more likely to penetrate that cell.

The fatality of the virus is very similar in other ways.

= more infectious but just as dangerous.

I can’t believe you said that.

Really scraping the bottom of the barrel huh ?

The bastion of honesty

You just gave me a Twofer.

Per capita we’re number nine on the list .

And since we are comparing big populations let’s throw in India.

Their death rate hasn’t even cracked the top 50 .

Do you know what kind of drug they allow even push .

Yeah that’s right........

Hydroxychloroquine.

Your turn . Lol

How in the hell can it be just as dangerous if it’s less likely to kill you ?

You lost me on that one . Lol

if you are looking at the usa and a country much smaller with much less population,,you don't just look at the raw number you figure out what per cent of each population got sick got hospitalized ended up dead...

I totally agree. Measuring mortality by including those who have not had the infection is just useless rhetoric. The mortality of an epidemic is measured on the number of those infected who die.

Adjustment of the figures to look at case-fatality moves the USA away from having the largest total numbers of any country in the world, to being the 11th worst in a field of about 100 countries, or if you want to measure it respective to 100,000 population, the 5th worst.

Communism vs freedom. We don't lock people in apartments, and leave sick people in the streets to die like them.

Also, who the funk believes anything coming outta the ChiComs? Are you a gulli-bull or a gulli-calf?

I cannot verify that there was such an effect on mortality in the past, however, even on daily figures, right now, the USA still has the biggest totals.

Because it isn't less likely to kill you.

The truth is, the new strain is just as likely to kill you if you get it.

There is a general epidemiological expectation that future mutations to viruses will become more infectious, and less fatal, in general (ie, the more hosts survive, the more prevalent that strain will become in comparison to those that kill their hosts), but that isn't the case with this strain.

This strain is more infectious because there are far more of the spike protein on the outside that penetrates cell walls. The 'payload' of the virus hasn't changed that much.

Yes . So , the Laws of Probability Dictate that More Hu-Mons will be Found to have been Exposed to a " Corona Virus " at Least Once in their Short Lives here on Planet Earth . The Distinction Between that and the Specific Strain of COVID[19 is Medically and Scientifically Debatable Right Now Due to Political Repercussions Concerning a Possible " FAKE " Pandemic at this Point in Time .

D614G is the most prevalent form in the US right now.

As you happily remind us cases keep rising in the US .

And I will remind you the fatality rate keeps falling in the US.

Now the scientist say D614G is 10 times more contagious but less deadly .

Do you see any possible connection between the two ?
