As already pointed out you should put the word "allegedly" into your OP. It clearly shows your bias missing it.

We have seen only one side of the story so far. Give the other party plenty of time to express their version of things as well, you might get surprised at how things might turn out. It's not the first time that state institutions or their segments get caught lying in order to discredit/punish their adversaries and people go along with the "official" version.

As it stands this whole thing stinks and in my opinion this seems to be an attack on the people closest to Trump and indirectly on Trump himself. No surprise here, deep state hard at work.

Well, Trump fired Bannon quite a while ago and Bannon was pretty pissed at Trump after that. Bannon is out for himself, if he committed this crime than he should be put on trial and put in prison.

Obama had his birth questioned. His religion questioned. Even Trump has been bashing Obama for years. Mitch McConnell said that he would oppose Obama at every step. People were burning hanging effigies of Obama.

One news station questioned obama's motives. One. And democrats despise Fox for it. He was rightfully questioned about his birth but the retaliation was to claim it was racist. Do you realize how utterly stupid it sounds to call someone a racist for questioning the birth of a president? Mitch is only one person. Try having an entire side opposing you, same thing happened to Bush II in 2007 and 2008. I was able to track down one single video of someone hanging an effigy and burning it. Check out all the effigies of Trump that have been burned, chopped up, shot at, beheaded, etc.
