the OT reference in Hosea undoubtedly speaks of the future Lord Jesus who after 3 days was lifted to heaven and took all the old testament saint with Him. Other than them no new testament saint is in heaven. That occurs on the day of resurrection when the first be last and the last shall be first.

First of all, Reincarnation is far older than Christianity. ''Gautama'' the Buddha taught about it before Christianity existed, so why would he try to ''destroy'' something that did not even exist?

And Gautama is not the first one(or even the first ''Buddha'', he just had an effective marketing campaign) to talk about Reincarnation, he is a relatively ''new'' scource.

In fact Reincarnation was also part of early Christianity before it was banned by the authorities, In 553 AD the Emperor Justinius had teachings on reincarnation banned. The same 'Church'' that is responsible for so much human suffering throughout the ages with their dogmas and beliefs in one man as the only son of god/divine figure/idol worshiping. Tell me, who is ''evil'' in practice? (I have nothing against ''Jesus'' per se, just the fictional figure roman authorities created to control/enslave the minds of people, yeah the blue eyed blonde guy nonsense )

Secondly, why do/did these ''enlightened'' spiritual teachers talk about reincarnation? Because according to them it's observable at a certain level of awereness just like the law of gravity in nature can be observed at a lower level of awareness. When the perception of a human being expands he/she is able to realize the real nature of his own existance, which includes the realization of past lives and future happenings based on causality( ''Karma'').

That's why they also taught people this truth needs to be discovered by everyone on an individual level and cannot be learned from an outside scource, i.e scriptures, gurus, religions, science, etc. Those are just more food for your intellect/imagination. What is needed is existential experience, otherwise prejudice/belief systems/confusion and contempt as you so clearly demostrate here is the only way to be.

So, like most people you assume too much, ''spirit'', ''resurrection'', ''reincarnation'' etc, these are just words/concepts for your imagination to ponder upon, ''learned'' from an outside scource/text.

P.S. Truth is, most human beings have no awereness of anything other than their physical nature: thoughts, emotions & body, this is why ''death'' is feared, because they realize that ''death'' is the ultimate bull# dispeler and only ''knowlegde can set you free'' (not belief/ fantasies ). There is no subsitution for knowledge/experience.

''Spirit'' is just a bull# word people use to to comfort themselves unfortunately, a real spiritual seeker therefore wastes no time talking about ''spirit'' because he realizes life is too short, true religion is an inner quest for truth in every man and not idol or worshiping of concepts that has corrupted the mind of humanity for far too long(like Christianity or any religion really that is just putting the intelliegence to sleep for a lifetime)

Of course it does NOT speak of the future Jesus. It speaks of their current LORD. It speaks of "US" and "WE". And, it speaks of the 3 day rule.
