So, you can't see how the two situations differ?

Do we literally have to go through this step by step in order for you to understand how the two are dissimilar?

Yeah, sure it is different
Lol
Keep telling yourself that
Lol
That is only funnier

Because the people of the USA are a bunch of stupid assholes. The people of the USA are absolutely OBSESSED with politics.

The people of New Zealand are reasonable people. One month... Who cares?

Thanks for that!

Perhaps because it is no big thing to shift it a month, in light of the situation?

I mean, really, what's the problem with it?

We aren't like some who demand the right to be shot, or will throw their lives away for a bit of colored cloth.

But, by the same token, we don't like being sick or dead. So less important things get the boot.

but Trump delaying the election is bad. Mkay.

Watch how the Dim controlled MSM will fawn all over her for suggesting this while they crucified Trump for the same thing.

did Trump not merely suggest delaying the US election and people lost their damn minds?

Yeah but Ardern is suggesting it for the right reasons.

www.beehive.govt.nz...

The 2020 General Election will be held on Saturday 19 September, Prime Minister Jacinda Ardern announced today.

It looks like the elections are done similar to Canada. The PM decides the election date on the required year. Generally just means the election gets done sometime in the fall, not pinned down to an specific date every time like US elections...

Only in your imagination. You keep making up all these things that others are supposed to be doing, and then railing against it.

Slightly off topic.....but could be linked...New Zealand have just introduced Quarantine Camps....ahem...sorry 'Facilities'... If you refuse to be tested...they will keep you there until you supplicate......remind you of something similar and do you still think Jacinda is such a wonderful person? Watch the videos.....
Quarantine 'Camps'

Quarantine facilities are hospitals and hotels. There aren't any 'camps'.

The only people who are in a position to require repeated testing are those in the quarantine facilities.

The number of people in quarantine is only about 100, spread across the nation. They are in quarantine because it is highly likely that they are infectious. They have either tested positive, or someone that they have immediate contact with have tested positive. Otherwise we'd all go living in luxury hotels on the governments coin.

Why do Americans persist in making up this BS.

why though, they aren't having the problem we are, makes no sense if you ask me. if anything we should be the one to delay things, is America alright in the head? if i was president i would've declare a national disaster and implemented martial law by now, trump is being too nice for our situation right now.

sometimes democracy needs suspended to effectively protect a nation.

So should the US delay the election in November until Covid has passed? Surely, in light of the statistics there and the obvious flaws with mail in voting it is a sensible thing to do for the US too?

What are your thoughts on Ardern as a New Zealander Chr0naut? Is she good, bad or oitherwise?

I think the US should make up its own mind but letting people die for the sake of punctuality doesn't seem too balanced a view.

And that comment is why we keep telling you your posts are bull. That's a specious statement at best, flat-out crap at worst because people won't die from voting, just as they're not dying from going shopping.

They won't die from delaying the vote by a month.

They may die if they congregate people together when some of those people are contagious.

It's pretty dammed simple to understand.

No, no one will die, but that's mostly because it's not physically possible to move the election from November 3rd of this year.

Did they, or was that what Faux News said they would do?

You see, Trump at the moment is in a bad position and is concerned that he will loose. So, he is trying to imply that the electoral process, the one he is likely to loose based on current estimates, the one that got him elected in the first place, the one that has been the same for a number of elections, is somehow broken and faulty.

[sarcasm]Because he is being so picked on. The opposition to the President, from the opposition which every President has had, has never happened in the past. [/sarcasm]

It is "unprecedented" (have you ever noticed that in every right wing news report, where they decry the President being 'picked on', they all keep using that exact word? "I don't think that word means what you think it does" - quote from The Princess Bride.)

Concerned he might lose?

You’re delusional. And wrong. Maybe turn off channel one news.

There’s a 99.96% chance they won’t though.
Congregate for riots - applause
Congregate for voting - “REEEEEEEEEEEEE you’ll catch Ebola and most definitely die!!!!!”

Exactly
And they won’t die even if they take no precautions whatsoever and openly gather at any venue or event for any reason whatsoever.

This innocuous virus is innocuous

Even the media says so. How many tens of millions is the death toll up to now? Sixty million? Two hundred million?

The virus isn’t even newsworthy. It’s the fake reaction to the virus that people are concerned about.

Well, not thick people.

Huh? And for the last 4 pages we were told it was her opposition who suggested it.

Strange.
