Do you agree with the U.N. Security Council's decision? If so then why? If not then why not?

So Trump is moving in a different direction. It seems that Trump is on the verge to unite just about all of the Middle East with Israel in a coalition against Iran.

As to your title, was Obama the leader of the free world?

Leader of the Free World?

No thanks.

Too costly.

Let some other country be used and abused.

Maybe Justin Trudeau would accept the burden.

Apparently even the UN did not want Trudeau.

they banned blackface?

For all the rest of us peoplekind. Trudeau gets a pass as usual.

Here's what I don't think Trump understood: the POTUS is only "The Leader of The Free World" to the extent he leads "The Free World" (basically a collection of the leading Democracies) in a direction they're willing to go. Participation in the "Free World" is voluntary. The whole concept of the "Free World" as an entity that the POTUS leads emerged from the end of WWII when the US was the only nation that could have been the leader. Many democracies at that time were willing to follow the US lead because those nations not only respected our military and economic power, but also admired our moral authority. A lot of nations regarded the US as the nation they wanted to emulate. We have been meticulously building and nurturing that good will as an explicit part of our national security strategy for the lat 75 years, because it gives us a level of influence in the world that is not attainable any other way.

Trump has been treating the "Free World" as a bunch of captives he can shake down as part of a protection racket. He has totally pissed away any position of moral authority. The "Free World" doesn't really want to follow a Sociopath and is in the process of executing a mutiny.

As a result, the US has lost a lot of power and Putin is getting pretty much what he wanted.

It has been said that everything Trump touches turns brown.: Southern Guardian

After President Trump is re-elected, the United Nations headquarters will be relocated elsewhere on the planet. They'll have no choice.

You seriously can't hate Trump enough to back the ccp in arming a terrorist hotspot
You need to be honest with your agenda.

This is not the first time the US has been defeated in the Security Council, nor will it be the last.

Really
Really, Trump isnt the leader of the freeworld
Kind of been positioning himself that way for the past few years, Yes?

Kinda picked that up with, what? Tariffs, distancing himself from the WHO, UN issues a myriad of different policies meant to reinvigorate the US internally while distancing the US from foreign policy debacles.

The US is was and has been at a crossroads for at least a decade or two. Fix up internally and step back from international politics or continue fail as a state.

Trump has put the US first, not the UN

Still voting Trump.

The OP misinterpretes the overall premise, nothing the security council did "Humiliated the US", had they voted "No", then by all means you're free to gloat. They abstained, another way of saying, Neither for OR Agaisnt..
In your heavily slanted source, it's assumed that Iran will break away from the deal completely, with which the Trump admin already did in 2018.
Ignorance and naive powers believe that Iran is holding up their end of the deal, as the worlds largest sponsor of terrorism, that can't be further from the truth.

Truth is, this is all formal, the US can and will pull its SuperPower status card and subsequent big stick if need be, so who's the humuliliated ones? The ones still holding obvious power or member states walking a tight rope, petrified at either angering the US or risking more Iranian provocations, via terrorism?

Ok...Everybody who gives a rat's ass what the UN thinks, raise your ?

Precisely this

How is the UN relevant at all in this situation? If it’s coming from The UN, it’s not worth a moments consideration

Rewrite to more appropriate headline:

Rogue states support renewed sale of arms to enable their war profiteering, US is only country to stand against state sponsor of terror.
