Joe Biden says when he becomes president, he will appoint Beto ORourke to the task of taking all firearms from private citizens in America.

this kind of thing is exactly what Democrat leaders were after when they started pushing the defund police movement, undermine the authority of police, watch violent crime go out of control, then push people to disarm themselves through alternative means, once they get to that point probably act with impunity and push socialism upon their communities, quietly subverting the system from the root and accomplishing a total socialist revolution before anyone can act to stop it.

support police, you're racist. oppose blm, you're racist. support gun rights, you're racist. support militias, racist. support free speech for everyone equally, including racists and bigots, you're racist. oppose anything liberal and ssocialist and you get targeted socially for execution, honestly this smells of eastern social ideas, like China is directing them behind the scenes on how to control the population through social manipulation.

How do you fund that? As is all the buy backs I've heard of offer very low rates on the guns turned in. Making a profit would be unheard of and require a lot of funds. We can't even seem to get states to chip in 25% on more covid unemployment funds. Also should it be a long running and profitable buy back, wouldn't it just serve as a means to ditch weapons used in crimes without getting yourself hemmed up? So you murder someone then turn the gun in and get paid for it...murder weapon gone no case and how do you prove who turned it in if they even do ballistic cross referencing down the road.

Their dirty little secret, they know who has guns and where you live. Since we have to fill out the form and show a current drivers license. If Biden gets in and his gun czar comes after your AR15 and other firearms they will know where you live.

Ha,

Sure, they know where we live and what we may have bought from a dealer. Trying to trace person to person sales is impossible.

usually if its voluntary and only a suggestion and there's something to gain from it, almost anyone will do what you want, from giving up their seat, to quarantine themselves or give up a gun.

people are very easy to manipulate with the right words, tone and attitude, they just like to think they aren't.

Canadians don't understand the 2nd. Either out of jealousy or flat out Marxism. Either way you'll have better luck having a drunk walking a straight line than an honest answer out of a Trudeau supporting Cancuck.

How can people peacefully protest without their firearms?

A great example occurred in Michigan, no one was threatened, nothing was burnt down, and there was no looting. Gun owner exercising their 2nd amendment right to peacefully open carry.

I didn't expect one as I don't think there is a good one. The point of asking those questions was to illicit some thinking to try and refute what I see as not possible. This in turn makes the point I intended that it is a dumb idea and wouldn't work.

See if you tell peopletheir ideas are dumb they will be defensive and aggressive. When you ask questions which lead to the point you want to make to them, they hopefully will think about how to refute you and realize on their own they are wrong. Still many won't admit it but at least I know they had to think about it in some manner.

It's goes beyond being nice and cordial with these individuals when they represent everything against your beliefs and ideology to speak against them while pretending to sit on the fence and allow them and their ideology to steamroll over you!

Get some stones and fight back because the fence you are sitting on is owned by the same evil supporting their BS!

Another dirty little secret...

I heard from a friend of a friend that the last dozen or so guns she purchased were from Facebook local posts and the deal was made in the parking lot of the local gas station.

Some she also purchased from neighbors, some she traded for, some she got responding to an ad in a newspaper.

"Friend of a friend".
I'll have to remember that.

I'm getting tired of using the phrase:
"One of my daughter's relatives."

not really true, sure guns are more restricted but not by much, its not that they don't understand, its more that they dont care as much, the gun gave us independence, it didn't give canada anything.

Exactly. It is important to obey and turn in all registered firearms.

So we can be good citizens.

If those firearms were used in a crime with ballistic evidence then your friend will be charged with those crimes. Long rifle used to shoot a deer out of season ran off and died wildlife warden finds dead deer retrieves slug. Owner of long gun is now in deep dodo. If that friend is charged with a felony they will lose all their firearms and not legally own one and will most likely do time in some federal pen.

The purpose is to have individuals exercise personal responsibility in identifying guns in their residences — and turn them in at safe locations in Philadelphia, no questions asked.

I think this is a great idea, because anyone who would actually turn in their firearm at a "safe location" shouldn't be a gun owner anyway.

Theses would be criminals who would not turn in their guns anyway. The statement no question asked should clue a person of who would possible turn in their firearms.
