Trump doesn't need their endorsement. He's getting majority law enforcement, firefighters, military, security guards, their families and friends. It's a lot of people, some of which voted for Hillary.

It will likely be enough to secure the popular vote. If that happens get ready for the real fake outrage from Democrats on how did that happen? Well you bashed the crap out of anyone any everyone that upholds the rule of law that's what happened.

Defunding the police, means making them cash strapped.... in serious need of resources.
This leaves them with one option... generate income.
They will have no option other than writing more tickets.
Driving 62 in a 60.........ticket
Cross the road diagonally..... jay walking...... ticket
and the fines are going to go up as well
and everyone will start getting pissed at the cops.....Your are pulling me over for driving 2 miles over the speed limit!!? Are you serious!!???

What a clever Catch22 the anti-police crowd has put us in

Well that's a pretty stupid thing to do , if there's a problem with something fix the problem don't degrade its ability to function.

Knee jerk politics is never a good thing.

Democrats love unions so when one doesn’t follow the party line they get nervous.
Walk away 2020! Haha

likewise, the right wing hate unions, so why would Trump or his followers be bragging about an endorsement from them?

Sounds kinda desperate to me... just sayin.

Desperate LOL

Surprised is more like it

Unions have always belonged on the Democratic Party plantation just like Blacks.

This defection from the plantation is a surprise to Republicans, but not really after the way the Democratic Party has openly treated the police and made them into villains of the worst magnitude.

Treat people like doggy doo doo, over and over, in public, shame them, say they are evil and must lose their jobs - then expect them to endorse you because they "belong" to you. Guess Republicans are surprised and Democrats have a lesson to learn.

"We will NOT be silenced" any longer when doxed, when social media harassed, when jobs are threatened, when death threats abound. The Police Unions have joined the "We will not be silenced" movement.

The movement for people who won't stay on the Democratic plantation after being treated like dog doo doo just because the Democrats think they belong to them. Just like the Black run aways from the plantation who think their 40+ children killed on city streets this summer of love matter, and the 1200 adults killed on city streets this summer of love matter, even if they are told to keep their damn mouths shut because it harms the goals and message of the DNC/BLM to say those lives matter.

I never heard that the right was obligated to hate unions. That is a new one on me. We don't think people should be FORCED to join unions, as I was once, yes FORCED or not get a job. We believe membership should be voluntary and no job contingent on joining a union, or else, get thrown out on the street homeless and starving.

The Democrats are in full preparation mode to contest the election and say it was fraudulent and rigged.

That is why they are claiming the Republicans are going to contest the election and gathering all the ways that the "Republicans" will "steal" the election. They are getting as many ideas as possible to contest the election themselves.

When groups they counted on living on the Democratic Party plantation forever begin to run away, they panic.

First the Police Unions leave the plantation, now we are seeing Black people realize they are not bound to the plantation that has formally endorsed BLM, which has brought shame (through looting/rioting and BLM endorsing the looting/rioting and holding rally's and fundraisers to get rioters and looters out of jail) to the Black community which many Black people are rejecting.

FYI for those who say the right hates Black people, that is a bald faced lie, told to keep Black people on the Democratic plantation. Many if not most of my black close friends are conservative and have abandoned the idea they "belong" to the Democrats, because "they all think alike" and "aren't really black if they don't vote for Democrats" as Biden has said.

How long before other groups realize they don't "belong" to the Democratic Party and are not obligated to vote Democratic because of their skin color or because they are gay or whatever identity group the party claims belong on their plantations exclusively?

The Teamsters have in the past jumped off the plantation, if I remember correctly. I think they endorsed Reagan on his second term. You could also have unions not endorse anyone which would be almost as good as a Trump endorsement. I have a really good Army buddy up in the mid-Atlantic states that's a proud member of the electricians union voted for Trump in 2016 and plans to do so again, and according to him so is most of his local, even some that didn't last time.

I tend to agree that unions representing government workers are a bad idea. Hell, even FDR thought so. But, we're stuck dealing with them and their sweetheart contracts right up until fiscal reality hits, and voters refuse to pony up for it.

totally agree. Knee jerk reactions to most things are not well thought out and usually end badly. But those who are perpetuating the knee jerk reactions have proven to not be the adults in the room many times before, so this is almost expected.

Government employee unions are problematic. No matter who they endorse.

Problematic? They are an abomination, even in the eyes of that great Socialist FDR, and should all be abolished and forever outlawed.
