My interpretation of the Book of Job points to "The Lord" and "God" being distinct.

I've always wondered why humans are mentioned before Adam and Eve in Genesis. Adam and Eve are supposed to be the first, right?

Yes, I've come to understand life to function in this manner.

The one original conscious, in an attempt to know itself, manifests itself. In turn, this One Creator manifests "central suns" of his being. Each being individuated, yet a part of this creator, and a creator in its own rights.

Each 'central sun' then repeats this process of creation in order to express itself. This trickles down to galaxies, stars, planets.

So in essence, our direct creator is himself a manifestation of its creator attempting to know itself, which in turn, is as same, and so forth.

Essentially, ALL of existence as we know it is the very process of the One Creator proclaiming "I am."

LORD = God
sons of God = Angels who follow God
Satan = Fallen angel who rebelled against God

Our Creator is a 3 in 1 God. The Father, The son, and the Holy Spirit. Keep this in mind while reading!

Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them.

- Job 1:6

This alone isn't what led me to believe this claim, since in this case it could easily refer to God.

However, after going through a bit more, the distinction between "the Lord / Almighty" (whom had tested Job at the whims of Satan), and "God" (who's judgment for allowing this is being put in question) became more evident.

Interesting interpretation.

I agree with you. There are a lot of verses in Genesis that make me scratch my head at times. Especially in the instances where God is referred to as "we", or "us" - not he or she. Like Genesis 1:26:

[1:26] Then God said, "Let us make humankind in our image, according to our likeness; and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the wild animals of the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth."

Us?

How many God's are there? "Us" and "Our" clearly indicates more than one being, in my opinion.

Perplexing, no?

There are many of us who do not believe that is so.
I don't believe Satan offered the rule of the earth to part of the one who created it. Plus many many other things like this.

What is it that you don't believe about that? If Satan was arrogant enough to rebel against the God who he knew created him and had all the power, why wouldn't he be arrogant enough to make such an offer to Jesus while he was in a human state?

There is a major difference between the Gospels of Jesus (NT)
and the Hebrew books, this is why so many get confused.
Different books, different concepts, conflict each other.

He may be arrogant but he is not stupid.
I John 5:5:
Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?

You believe Jesus prayed to himself.
He didn't want to "tempt" himself and so forth.
He elevated himself to sit at his own right hand.

Matthew 26:39,42:
And he [Jesus Christ] went a little further, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.
He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, thy will be done.

So, do you believe the Bible when it says that Jesus is the one who created the universe and everything in it?

John 1:1-3, 10-11, 14

1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

2 The same was in the beginning with God.

3 All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made.

10 He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.

11 He came unto his own, and his own received him not.

14 And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth.

No, The heretical interpretation is MY view:

There is the one and only Almighty God that created and oversees the Universe and all of of creation, and there are lesser manifestations of this "One Infinite Creator" which are also "Gods" for lack of a better term, that are more "local" in nature - like one God per galaxy.

Judaism (The Torah) was the proto-monotheistic text, the first example of as much, But not the first example of Monoaltry.

Polytheism -> Monoaltry -> Monotheism ->

Monolatry is distinguished from monotheism, which asserts the existence of only one god, and henotheism, a religious system in which the believer worships one god without denying that others may worship different gods with equal validity

In the "West Bank" region before Judaism (1210 BCE) you had Canaanites.

They were Polytheistic (by pantheon), but Ba'al was the god above the others. You have an established preference and even transliteration between "Ba'al" and "Yahweh" in some contextual cases.

One of the best ways to follow religion is the language they use. Hebrew and Phoenician are both child languages of Canaanite.

The split in language follows the split in theology. While Phoenicia stayed an example of Monoaltry, a sibling culture dropped the pantheon.

That (IMO) leads to the hierarchy/pronoun quirks in early Abrahamic writings. Ba'al started the transition which lead to Yahweh, and the transitional scripture to disambiguate a duality from a pantheon.

Wrong answer. Satan was not an angel. The scriptures never really identify his exact nature other than being "the enemy" and describing him as an evil version of the god Pan.

A Satan is any celestial entity that rebels against the Creator and His Father. There are many Satan's who are bound in Sheol and shall be released prior to the great tribulation [Jacobs Trouble]. The evil spirits of today are the Satan's that were the offspring of the Great Giants of the antediluvian period but were not angels. They were the children of the angels.

I'm never a fan of trying to determine root meanings of words and phrases in English that have been translated from their original language multiple times. To do research such as this I believe you have to go to the root language and definitions. Something I am not qualified to do, but those who can have published it if you want to take the time to track it down and digest it.

Keep exploring. You'll become a Gnostic Christian yet. The true Creator God is unfathomable and probably doesn't even exist in any way that we can understand. Worse yet, the world we live in was created and ruled by a demiurge named Saklas or Yabaldaoth. Definitely powerful, definitely insane.

And the Gnostic Jesus basically said that since this world is a horror and we are trapped in it at the mercy of this crazy being that thinks it's god, why don't we try to be nicer to each other and maybe make this existence slightly less miserable?

Get an honest Bible translation for a change. It says "Jehovah" there, the Hebrew word for "the LORD" or "the Lord" does not appear at Job 1:6 in the Hebrew manuscripts that haven't been altered on purpose to remove and replace God's unique personal name mentioned over 7,000 times in the Bible (and in most translations removed and replaced with "the LORD", "the Lord" or "God" by dishonest Bible translators and copyists working for Satan, hypocrites and charlatans, just like their spiritual father).

I have what you need but from your perspective I doubt that you would be interested. I do not know for sure which translation you are talking about but it certainly sounds like the the new world bible which was edited from the KJV bible by incompentant people with no qualifications whatsoever.
