I ran across this article last year and figured it was worth saving.

It’s a real clear politics article fingering the most probable weakest link in the FISA case.

They first person they named was Kevin Clinesmith clear as day.

So, who are the weakest links as Durham’s investigation moves forward? One is surely Kevin Clinesmith, a lawyer in Comey’s FBI who is highlighted in the Horowitz Report (pages 186-190). Sen. Lindsey Graham mentioned those pages in his Tuesday press conference. In them, Horowitz presents evidence that Clinesmith not only altered official documents, he completely changed their meaning.

Snip

Clinesmith, for one, has compelling incentives to say who knew what and when. He was apparently caught red-handed changing official documents. His lawyer ought to be seeking ways to lessen the criminal consequences. The only way to do that is to come clean.
Anybody who worked with Clinesmith should be thinking the same thing. It would be good for them and it would be good for the country.

So far waiting for developments from the Durham probe has been like watching procrastinators anonymous decide which item to choose first from their to do list.

But if this is the head snitch we can look forward to everything snowballing.

Got any cheese?

Lets see if he gets the full 5 years...or a much lesser sentence because he's naming names.

Clinesmith will receive a light sentence because he cooperated with prosecutor John Durham's investigation.

If we hear 12 to 18 months we’ll know he cooperated some .

If the recommendation is no jail time .

Every one of those dirt bags will be packing a toothbrush .

Hell, if that's the case, I'd like to see them pin a medal on the boy's chest!
