If you're sick stay home!

The wife of a teacher where I work was diagnosed with Coronavirus a week or two ago. I saw her walking through the halls today hacking her damn lungs out. I was pissed. I'm still pissed. What's with these selfish, stupid people? They don't give a damn about who they might infect. I really don't want to get it. If I get it I'll be taking it home to somebody else. I let my mom move in with me. She's in her 70's and smokes like a chimney. If she gets that crap it'll kill her.

Yeah but it would suck if it's due to somebody's carelessness.

I totally agree with you intercepting here in this country people are becoming too selfish and in this country I mean like maybe two other three people were over the age of 55

You can't pull the teacher aside and say 'hey man about your wife...'?

It's getting scary to teach these days here in this country many teachers I taken every precaution necessary but at least they're teaching in September is when the real factual come about about how many teachers are infected and how many students are infected and at that time we're going to really see the truth about this virus

Only people allowed in where I work are Preschool teachers children and directors. Parents aren't even allowed in the building. We've had to restructure our entire drop-off procedures and times. I'd be pretty annoyed as well. I live with my grandmother and my compromised uncle. I wear my mask all day. I wash my hands frequently. There's even a long list of symptoms that I must go over before the children's temperatures have even been taken. That matter I get the same questions and temperature taken the second I walk into my job.

People should not be in places they do not work or have a legitimate reason to be.

Forgot to mention when someone is sick they are out for three days. If a fever is accompanying it they must go get a test. I don't want to test that's part of the reason why I'm taking such heavy precautions.

This is a private high school. They've let so many people in it's not funny-even when the place was supposed to be closed to everyone but maintenance. They had an orientation for students and I saw so many people without masks on all clustered together. Most of those that did have masks had their noses hanging out like they don't know that their noses are connected to their lungs.

I don't know the specifics about this situation.

But could be that the managment told her something to the likes of : you better show up tommorow for work or we gotta re-evaluate your position here.

Even in my country where employee rights are very good they still put you on a huge amount of pressure to come back in.

And a lot of private companies don't give a damm about protecting their employees for Corona.

I experienced this first hand , only when it started raining fines they do something about it , sure makes you being aprreciated , 10k fine is more important then protecting your ppl i geuss.

Putting aside the fact that we learned that advice in grade school as young kids, it never seemed to stop most people or even bother them until the unprecedented psychological terrorism attack of 2020. Ignoring the fact that it is a persons own fears and fears alone that is subjectingg themselves to hardship and stress of what has until 2020 been nothing mors than normal life.

Its really not that big a deal. Stop being a hypocondriac. One could say your 70 year kld chain smoking mother has made her own personal choices in life, medical science be damned.... Right??

I'll bet anything she isn't vlowing this out of proportion as much as yourself. You learn a thing or two about the stubborness of our elders when one of my matriarchs continued smoking tobacco into her late seventies despite even being on oxygen tanks and hoses.

This is a school. They don't want anyone infected coming in. She doesn't even work there either.

That's what it's going to take, real old fashioned social interaction, pre-social media style.

You should calmly and assertively tell the stranger that they should've stayed home if they were sick, infering that you're fearful of catching coronavirus and that the stranger might have it versus regular sicknesses that no longer exist in people's minds of the post covid world.

An awkward showing of insecurity and fear by a male to someone that they don't know in public. If the stranger is a female or a minority, all the better.

This could really work. We should start a trend to help society stay healthy.

Ought that "infectorino" be placed in quarantine or jail?
Should their financial assets be confiscated and re-distributed?
Should their dependents suffer the same?
Maybe just killing them is the quickest and best method of getting rid of this pesky cough?
If anybody refuses to be afraid of the virus, must they be ridiculed, ostracized and made out to be the lowest caste possible, even lower than dogs?
