Well this is certainly going to have some serious consequences....

Will put up more when it comes out.

www.inquirer.com...

Lebanon’s health minister says the government has resigned over last week’s devastating blast at the Beirut port.

The minister, Hamad Hassan, spoke with reporters at the end of a Cabinet meeting on Monday.

He says: “The whole government resigned.”

Hassan also added that Prime Minister Hassan Diab will head to the presidential palace to “hand over the resignation in the name of all the ministers.”

I can't imagine this going anywhere but straight into the crapper.

I'd almost say it has the potential to be the catalyst for WW3. Almost. That'd be too doom porny.

That's some serious messed up sh*t. Poor people man. I can't even imagine what's in store for them. I guess that's a libertarians dream though. Hopefully they can pull it off.

I don't disagree....this has the potential to spark a much larger issue in the area. The power struggle will be very interesting to watch.

Never know how deep it goes. That could be a real possibility

I guess the good thing is at least they are taking some culpability for their failures. It would be nice if our entire government resigned too.

Or theres nothing left to steal and the jig is up so they are bailing out before they get the pitchfork treatment..

Theres a big protest right now outside their government building, people trying to pull down the barricades presumably to get in.

It's almost like Tehran did it so they can take over the country through Hezbollah. Those mystery 3 x Iranian freighters that landed just after the explosion?

If Hezbollah takes over then the response from Jerusalem is let's say going to be worth keeping an eye on

Wow leaders accepting accidental failures. Let’s go show them if you’re a politician just blame the other side(s) and never accept fault at any cost, and let’s bring them democracy while they’re in disarray.

Michel Aoun I would guess....Aoun may follow suit after accepting the resignations.

Wow that vid had an interesting detail-the journalist said the underground structures are a network of "panic rooms."
A major port is not the first place I would think of as a location for panic rooms..However maybe they are bomb shelters left over from one of the wars?

Whatever they are, I would be very suspicious of what was actually kept in them. A huge underground network of panic rooms/chambers in a large port......hmmm.....
