The nra are not the 2ed amendment.

The ones that allegedly commited the crimes are not the nra.

Both will go on with out them.

Am I wrong but didn't we here about their corruption many months ago?
This doesn't sound new.

I know the NRA is corrupt and they get away with it because they are the only game in town for gun rights. I am sure there are some other small gun right groups but they have no clout. NRA may even have had a hand in keeping them small.

two others have more members than the NRA but less money, but that's another subject entirely. what we have here isn't about corruption or abuse, this is just a move by the socialists hiding behind the BLM to disarm white people so they cant fight back against their planned future violent actions under the guise of protests. once they do that they can force whatever they truly want, a silent socialist revolution where the black minority has absolute power to demand whatever they want through fear and intimidation.

You need a predicate to start an investigation then you file charges if you have evidence of a crime based on the investigation, then you follow due process of law to try the case so that a jury can determine of the charges meet the threshold beyond a reasonable doubt in criminal cases.

UN examines Australia's forced sterilisation of women with disabilities as of 2015 it was still going on. You may have laws but they are not being enforced,

As near as I can tell, this is a civil case and at present represents the instigation of investigations.

The biggest thing that would concern me if the NRA was shutdown or whatever is what would hapoen with all of the firearms instructors who are NRA certified?

The majority of certified firearm instructors I know and know of are NRA certified. The NRA even has a gunsmith certification program.

Some states you don't need a certificate or degree to be a gunsmith, but I'm fairly certain that most if not all states require a lot of authorized training and testing to be a qualified instructor. And the only organization I know of, besides certain government organizations, that trains civilian instructors is the NRA.

Hell, I had plenty of experience in instructing and coaching with firearms while I was in the Navy. Shot expert on everything they threw at me too. But, once I got back into the civikian world and went to get a job as an instructor every single one of them told me to specifically get NRA training.

I know the NRA has it's problems, however....

The NRA gives millions to youth shooting sports activities, schools, scholarships, hunter education, etc. Especially in times such as these, I feel that is essential. It's very efficient at raising money....and it isn't all for lobbying. explore.nra.org...

Some friends of ours own a gun shop/outdoor range in a neighboring county. Some city folk wanting nice views moved in as his neighbor....then took him to court saying his gun range triggered ptsd in their son (why did you buy a property near a gun range then?). Of course, even though the county is very rural, the local town is a liberal artsy area. They are all friends with those in high places so they shut him down. Which is illegal here in my state. He has been fighting them in court for probably 3 years now and they have went through at least 2 or 3 judges. Latest judge has had the case for 6 months or more without making a ruling. Basically they are trying to drag it out until this family has no more money....probably losing their 2nd small business in the process as well. NRA stepped in to help them fight their case. I don't think any other organization would have done that.

Susan G. Komen has weathered their share of storms.

At least sterilization of the disabled is now illegal in Australia, however, it looks like it is still legal - and still occurring - in the US:

Involuntary Sterilization of Disabled Americans - American Baby & Child Law Centers (Reiter & Walsh, P.C.)

As for the genocide of Australian Aboriginals and 'the stolen generations', yes, that did happen. I won't excuse it. Thankfully, it was stopped by 1971.

It is wrong, and evil, to forcibly and systematically remove children from their families, like the US has been doing quite recently at its Southern border with the children of detained immigrants.

Migrant children still being separated from parents at border - UPI

The current administration are even using the Coronavirus as a 'reason' to expedite the crime:

The US is swiftly removing migrant children due to new coronavirus restrictions - CNN

Honestly, both countries are culpable in so many things, but that doesn't mean that USA occupies any moral high ground.

It is childish Trump-think excuseism that says 'but they did the wrong thing too'. Like saying that the NRA should not be prosecuted for fraud, just because the President is getting away with it.

Two wrongs, don't make it right.
