carsforkids, you bring up a good point. Without examining all all sides of a story there is no truth to it.

Don't get me wrong I think this is a good post. What I dislike is
how quiet threads like this always are. Threads that offer any
one with an imagination to incorporate a more meaningful message
should show an abundance of immediate replies. Sadly there seems
to be a trade off (if you will). For the cheaper more argumentative,
less thought provoking threads. Threads that only showcase the same
simple minded back and forth bickering ad- nauseam. A repetitious
waste of time for everyone. I remember this site before it was like
that. It was unique in so many ways. I wonder how many here see
the irony as this great site that offers so much potential nears it's
end. I think people are gonna miss this place a lot more then they
know at this moment. I won't be among them cause I know it right
now.

History is made, not destroyed or preserved. To ignore that is to keep repeating the same fundamental mistake.

Sites like this used to be somewhat unique back in it's early days before sites like Reddit and Faceputz took over to be used by the simple minded. ATS at least has mods that limit the cursing and sometimes the abuse of it's members. I feel the trolls are moving out as they got the notice that ATS won't be here much longer.
