What, did you have your funny bone removed when you had cancer?

No, just my spleen.

And a small bit of my liver as well as a core from my hip for biopsies.

The term is "staging."

I think they missed the hip bone and got the funny bone instead. Was the surgeon's hands shaking at all?

I was asleep at the time.

There was a hurricane going on and the hospital was down two emergency generators. Now that's funny.

Yeah, they insisted I go to sleep as well. I think the surgeon was a bit shy.

Just as well. No one should watch some dude practicing needlepoint on their own heart. Too much tendency to be a back seat driver.

Physical or mental?

I got some mental scarring that would make Jason Voorhees cringe.

Those are apparent, even on this medium.

See? You do have a sense of humor. i'm not sure why you can't see the humor in the President of the United States having trouble pronouncing "Yo'-see-mite." It's not like he can't pronounce "nukuclear."

If the pronunciation of a word were the end if it, it might be funny.

It isn't.

Can you tell me where I can find some of that worthy criticism for this duly elected POTUS?

Right here? I'm criticizing him for what was in my opinion a really poor performance in this interview. Do you disagree? Despite whatever his previous successes may have been, during this interview he came off as a person who isn't aware of the facts, and who doesn't have a solution. This wasn't a "gotcha" interview in so far as I could tell, and he had every chance to appear presidential; to allay fears, to communicate that he was in control, to rally the people. I don't think he did any of that.

I mean, at one point he said "it is what it is" referring to dead Americans. There's being blasé, then there's that. I know you must keep a level head and not become too emotional, but it came off as a complete disregard for human suffering. My takeaway from this interview was "well, I had the highest viewership on Fox". That seemed to be a more salient point to him, despite it not being relevant. Surely we can agree that he could've absolutely been better prepared for this interview - he knew it was going to be seen by millions, he knew it was a chance to prove he is the right person to lead us in this moment, and yet he blew it in my opinion.

What kind of a weirdo does it take to just never give another human being at least a chance to prove himself.

Certainly, he should be given a chance - especially during such an unprecedented time. Not every move is going to be the right one. I understand you're not saying that we should never call out bad performance or ideas, right? So where's the line when we can finally say "that was wrong" or "that was a mistake"? It must exist somewhere.

Ultimately, when you run for President, you're telling the world that you have the integrity, the "grit" and the intelligence to be a leader, especially during difficult times. That means you can also take a few on the chin when you make a mistake and try to do better. I didn't get that feeling from Trump here; it appeared to me he was out of his depth.

I do disagree. Only because I don't believe this interview was the
right venue to "Rally the people". In fact in this political climate i
see very little need for any of that "Rally the people" stuff. You
might agree that everybody in the country has already made up
their minds. He'd look pretty silly when there are no people to
rally. Especially in the White House. No I think he's pretty smart
to save all that for his rallies..

I mean, at one point he said "it is what it is" referring to dead Americans. There's being blasé, then there's that. I know you must keep a level head and not become too emotional, but it came off as a complete disregard for human suffering.

No it didn't come off that way at all. You're exaggerating dramatically.
And it's trivial. And it should be obvious to even you how petty you
are. Anything the man articulates without all the phony crap that
Presidents of the past thought fooled everyone. You pull apart and
completely demonize the tiniest flaws. He's giving an interview and
you expect him to morph a different emotion with every new question?
See I can't even continue this reply because it's so ridiculous. If you
can't see that. Then you're with the right crowd. The ugly ones.

These are your words

complete disregard for human suffering.

Unbelievable

You don't even allow for any concept of what he has been prevented from accomplishing.

I'm not even sure you're using the right word so i'll define the word you used.

Integrity - the quality of being honest and having strong moral principles; moral uprightness.

Where in the hell do you see that in anyone in D.C. if not Donald Trump?

Why do the Politicians want him out? His integrity to do the will of the people.

Why does the left hate him? Because he's for us and against them.
