You still can't get around the fact that if you died right now your fate is sealed to spend eternity in the lake of fire. It was once pointed out to me that if a bird was able to fly around the outer edge of the universe and you had a ball of lead the size of the earth and every time the bird flew by and brushed that ball with the tip of it's wing. The time that it would take to wear that ball to nothing would not even be the beginning of eternity.

The saints will judge the Angels who sinned they will not judge those who put their faith in Christ no matter how weak that faith is.

The unprofitable servant, doses not say he's thrown into the lake of fire. The die once in this life time is death to self and life in Christ, the live and not die means that you will die a natural death and a spiritual upon the resurrection. Surly you can grasp that concept with all your useless knowledge. Here's another one the demon know the name of Jesus and have the sense to tremble for they know their ultimate fate.

That lake of fire doesn't sound too cool at all.

I shot a note over to some Universalists, maybe they can do something.

I know this Episcopal minister who has probably died all ready. He thought very highly of me.
And two Evangelical Free Church ministers, one of whom may remember me.
And two Christian Church (disciples of Christ) ministers.
And a United Church of Christ minister who I went to college with.
And a Presbyterian school teacher.
And a Lutheran minister who let me be a lector because the guy I was replacing was a cantor who sang the Scripture verses. He was a tough act to follow, so I had to be top form in Scripture reading. I practiced a couple of hours for each reading. This lady said to me once "when you read the verses it's like I'm right there hearing them spoken live for the first time. Like I'm right there!"
And there's these Quakers I helped with wheel chairs.

That's just to name a few.

Maybe they will offer some suggestion of a special dispensation or something so I can skip that lake of fire. It's not like I'm asking for resurrection to eternal life or something difficult like that. Just to skip the eternal lake of fire.

Universalism is your hope? Good luck with that I would not bet eternity on it though. It seems like you know the bible, you got buggered by some priest? You had a mean grandmother AKA Charlie Manson. What shut your mind off? Jesus has a few words para phrased You clean the outside of the cup and death resides inside. Death resides within you there is no life just the spirit of the Pharisee.

From my understanding this is not accurate. Nor is it merciful.
For instance if sinners are to spend eternity anywhere. Then where
is the second death? If sinners aren't put to death then who is?
No our God is merciful to even the worst mankind has to offer.

It is the wicked who suffer the torments of hell for eternity.
Because apparently they can't die.

The lake of fire is the second death. So believe it or not the
atheist that refuses to believe anything other than non existent
darkness on the other side. May actually get his wish. That is the
second death. It just takes flames that hot to decimate the soul.

And of course they all get to see what they tossed away by being
psychotic ingrates who took the easy way thru life. In absolute
ignorance to what they chose not to believe. Is a billion times
less likely than what should be common sense. Very easy to see
everyday the miracle of this existence. Why should God need
to provide any more evidence then what we see everyday we
open our eyes. It's up to each of us to have enough brains to
figure it out.

I only have one thing to say to people don't have at least that
much sense in their head. It doesn't matter what your IQ is.
You fail. And it's very sad.

No. They teach universal salvation. I'm not looking for salvation.

Death resides within you there is no life

Well there we go. It would be nice if I were allowed life now while I'm alive. It would be ok if the death residing in me took over after that.

Faith comes in sizes, it's quite powerful the size of a mustard seed. The smaller in size the bigger so it seems. If they knew science back then he would probably have referred to the size of an atom.

Okay, I added the label myself in an image editor.
It was meant as a joke.

If Christians laugh along with me than maybe I'll get cut a little slack.
============
Okay, Dez asked me if I had been buggered by a priest or something.
The truth is so much worse.
====================
After work one time, my partner and I went to a pizza joint that had beer in pitchers. I drank one or two more pitchers than I should have.

When we got to my partner's house, the Women's Bible Study Group that his wife held had just finished. There were 10 or twelve women in the driveway chatting. I fell out of the truck. When I stood back up they were all looking at me. So I started telling them a Bible story.

I was really drunk. I intended to tell the Shibboleth story from Judges 12. But I was so drunk that I told the story of the Levite's Concubine from Judges 19-21. The story starts out pretty funny, acting out the back and forth between the Levite and the Concubines father.

They were enwrapped by the story. Very attentive. The story goes very bad pretty quick. Enwrapped turned to shock and horror. Horror turned to outrage. Outrage led to denial and accusations that I was twisting scripture.

Months later, my partner told me that I had become the topic of every Women's Bible Study after that. That didn't seem right to me. Bible studies aren't supposed to be about Pthena. The knowledge that I was the cause of such distraction was more than I could live with.

So what else could I do?

Luke 17

1Jesus said to his disciples: “Things that cause people to stumble are bound to come, but woe to anyone through whom they come. 2It would be better for them to be thrown into the sea with a millstone tied around their neck than to cause one of these little ones to stumble.

And there's no loophole there, because Rev 20 says the sea gives up her dead, then it's off to that eternal lake of fire.

It's been a while since I had to read this. Your faith is nothing, it's blind belief.

I figure some say so because they say they lack repeatable scientific evidence like creation.

Faith doesn't create God but don't be faithless either.

One day the world will have spoken its last word.

Ye have little faith.

Heb 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

It is said faith in God comes from reading the bible.

Faith is a supernatural gift from God to those who seek him.

Why would anybody trust to read the bible? It's hard to read and unsuitable for the times. If god was real he would have created a book for each generation.

Heb 11.3
By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible.

What is appearing is Christ.

Christ is the visible image of the invisible God.

This is the Movie that blew my mind.
Look at the date it was made.

And all those years I went with my mind all blown.
Because I didn't know the proper notation to get it together.

You really need to see the whole movie though.

Spoiler alert:

It's Rugby's mad scheme that he cooked up in his brain!
Completely out of step with reality.

Good thing he had friends to convince him that his madness could destroy the fabric of reality. It even took a miracle to save the World. A really real miracle!

Just imagine how everything could have ended
if Rugby was in the box on Christmas when it was opened.
We gotta keep it real

For the Children!!!!

What is the movie titled?
Then I can look to see when it was made.
And may even be able to watch the whole movie as well.
