Seattle has been a liberal city for how long? This is their own doing, friends from that state say once you get out of the city it's a lot more conservative. I feel bad for the innocents that will lose their lives and/or their livelihoods.

They might still nuke it.

Chairman Xi wouldn’t want to deal with that trainwreck of a city either.

True.

They are currently useful idiots. That could change real quick.

Like to see the future of their US Mail, pizza delivery, ambulance, and other services that can afford it. Oh wait, I don't think they can afford these.

Join FedEx Seattle, must have combat experience.

It's just crazy, the people advocating removing the police are not the ones that will be affected by their removal, the people who live there and local business's will be devastated if this happens! Portland's leadership would rather bend over and kiss the ass of the blm/antifa types then those who elected them and pay the taxes (God forbid someone calls them racist) part of this country has gone mental and forgot about law and order and the rule of law, these sick people have no pride in our Republic or themselves any longer. God damn George Soros, his interferance and his nazi blood money.

This is what happens when decisions are made based on emotion and not sound logic. It’s mind boggling.

Letting all the lunatics out of the asylum to run Seattle. Nothing can go wrong.

NY Mayor DeBlasio says New Yorkers are safer, thanks to all the criminals he let out of jail this Summer.

First businesses small and large will pull out, the remaining ones will as insurance rates skyrocket and those remaining will soon thereafter getting less and less traffic. In about 2 years it will become Detroit. Faster if there are lots of high profile crime and violence, but likely people will just move away and then the city council will learn about how big business is essential for your tax base

Quite possibly. Then, when real estate is hard to move and the price per sq. ft. hits rock bottom, there will be a line of cash-based investors ready to pull the trigger on property.
Hell, this could all be by design. Almost like something you see in a movie

Man Washington state has had so many problems even before I was born. They should just go the whole mile and burn the whole state down. As long as Bruce Lee's grave is safe then eff em.

For example like in Tommy boy when the dude who wins by votes from people who died. People were outraged in that movie, but in real life people praise and worship presidents who do that. I'll leave them unnamed. The world is upside down.

You sure you mean Tommy Boy? I watch this movie regularly and can't think of any such plot

Let any city that want police defunded do it.

It will be a glorious turning point in feasable applications of anarchy! Just think, a more accessible illegal casino on every Chinatown Block, for Seattle anyway.

It'll work.... And there is absolutely NO CHANCE of it all going horribly wrong or being corrupted by financial influence... at all.

I can't wait to see a "Community response team" in a hostage standoff or active shooter situation.

Anyway...

Here is the other side of things, out of right here in Southern California. I think San Diego has released 2 or 3 of these videos since the polarizing incident captured America's attention.

Here is another a few weeks earlier.

As well as about 3 dozen other Police Departments in Southern California...

Anything is possible I supposed but that takes years maybe a decade, and those investors are going to still want some security. Corporatons usually look for friendly governments and smaller businesses need a working population to survive and thats in the best economic times. Hell after this summer I wouldn't invest in a downtown business hardly anywhere . We almost had an urban renewal but I'd bet those dollars dry up, Minneapolis won't rebuild quickly either

And things aren't looking so good
I'm looking California and feeling Minnesota, oh yeah

Part of the brain washing that’s happening. I simply can not communicate regarding these issues with family or friends who become enraged when you suggest an alternate perspective from what they are usually exposed too. It’s extremely upsetting for them to be challenged, so much so that I avoid those types of conversations and simply keep my mouth shut or walk away when someone decides to start letting opinions fall from their mouth.

We aren’t allowed to discuss with people who aren’t like minded anymore. To disagree is violent.
