You appear quite happy that a drug that has been approved for 65 years is now classified as a poison.

Our resident expert here confirmed that's false.

I don't think any experts have classified it as poison no

At some point with all the twisting you fellas do here, inevitably you'll meet eachother in a bind.

I'll admit that I am.

For example, I don't tend to believe anyone who says that screwing demons while sleeping causes gynecological diseases.

I have not the slightest idea what your talking about, and I was not replying to you.

Interesting that you answered though , it peaks my curiosity to say the least.

What you stated is easily corroborated and fact based.

What, you think I'll dismiss everything you say? I trust drips of honesty will come out as well.

Maybe now you will?

President Donald Trump abruptly ended his press briefing on Tuesday when CNN reporter Kaitlan Collins pressed him on his promotion of a quack doctor’s dangerous claims about COVID-19.

On Monday night, Trump shared a video of the doctor who falsely claimed hydroxychloroquine is a “cure” for COVID-19 and that it obviated the need to wear masks or undertake other mitigation measures during the pandemic. Some of her claims were clearly wrong on their face — it’s important to reduce the risk of catching diseases even if we have a cure for them — and top experts argue that the evidence continues to give little indication that hydroxychloroquine is effective against the virus. The video Trump shared was so dangerously wrong that social media platforms began removing it

Source

The doctor in question; Stella Immanuel

Immanuel, a pediatrician and a religious minister, has a history of making bizarre claims about medical topics and other issues. She has often claimed that gynecological problems like cysts and endometriosis are in fact caused by people having sex in their dreams with demons and witches.

She alleges alien DNA is currently used in medical treatments, and that scientists are cooking up a vaccine to prevent people from being religious. And, despite appearing in Washington, D.C. to lobby Congress on Monday, she has said that the government is run in part not by humans but by “reptilians” and other aliens.

Oh I'm sure there are plenty of other quacks out there. She's certainly not the only one.

Can you cite a source?

I meant a source which shows that hydroxychloroquine has been declared a poison, not a claim from you. I've already seen that.

Surely there is something in writing.

That claim was not mine, it was from Jacquie Dundee. I don't have anything else at this time, censorship on this topic is too strong.

New restrictions on prescribing hydroxychloroquine for COVID-19

To limit use of hydroxychloroquine to currently approved indications, there have been new restrictions placed on who can initiate therapy using it. Only certain types of specialists will be able to prescribe hydroxychloroquine to new patients

Liberal MP Craig Kelly said Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews could be jailed for his stance on hydroxychloroquine. An expert says there's 'zero chance'

Liberal backbencher Craig Kelly has suggested that Victorian Premier Daniel Andrews could be jailed for blocking the use of hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19

Your source:

Recent reports of increased off-label prescribing of medicines containing hydroxychloroquine have raised concerns that this will create a potential shortage of this product in Australia.

General practitioners and other medical practitioners (e.g. hospital Resident Medical Officers (RMOS) and doctors in training) can continue to prescribe repeats for hydroxychloroquine to patients in line with the registered indications for patients in whom the medication was prescribed prior to 24 March 2020. From 24 March 2020, general practitioners and doctors in training can only prescribe these medicines for continued treatment of patients where initial treatment has been authorised by one of the specialists.

So, no classification as a poison then?

I guess not technically. Turning a blind eye to the studies that are showing positive results with its use does allow the government to claim that no treatment exists so the lock down can go ahead.

Not at all, actually.

Perhaps when some prospective, controlled, and blinded studies show hydroxychloroquine (with or without wonderful, magical zinc) to be more effective than nothing, that will change.

There are such studies in the works, using that "poison."
clinicaltrials.gov...

But so far, not so much.

I disagree. Using the heart problem excuse when you over dose on the drug is a weak, pathetic and evil response to interfere with the client - doctor relationship and implement stage 4 lock downs.

It has not been declared a poison. You should give up on that claim.
It can have bad side effects, that's why it is and has been a prescription medication.

Depends on what country you live in. In some nations you can buy it over the counter. Those nations look to be doing better with the covid situation. Coincidence?
