More unrest in Germany ... 20,000 demonstrate in Berlin

Demonstrators in Berlin, apparently fatigued with Coronavirus restrictions have gathered and marched to express their disagreement with government policy.

Ironically, the presence of so many demonstrators without masks led to the protest being blocked by the Berlin police:

Within a few hours, however, plans to continue the rally along a wide boulevard that runs through the park were shelved after a police complaint.

Berlin police said they had launched legal action against the organizer over "non-respect of hygiene rules."

Protestors wore buttons with the slogan "Impfzwang? Nein Danke!" ("Forced vaccinations? No thanks!")

Notably, the demonstration was registered for only 1,000 participants, but attracted much more interest and participants.

The German people (for the most part) wear masks or face stiff fines (first offence)

Glad you brought this up. Anyone who takes this RUSHED vaccine for COVID19 will wish they never did especially children.

Vaccines takes sometimes years IF a vaccine is found. I remember back in March 2020 when the started talking about a CURE and then back-tracked and talk of a vaccine started......

I see this alleged new vaccine as nothing more than a weak vitamin pill.

My family will not be participating in any COVID19 vaccines.....

Good on them. I find the sarky but really dehumanising and hatred filled comments of those that are still scared stiff of a waning flu, very concerning.
Why are people who gather 'assholes'?
I am glad people are standing up for rationality, worldwide.
The true assholes are those that caused us to protest in such a way at all.
We have been forced to stay indoors, often fined when not obeyed.
We have been forced to ignore our illnesses and symptoms and so many have died unnecessarily because of the hypothetical onslaught of covid sick, which never came in so many places that nurses were getting depressed from not working. A father of 2 girls died because they thought his bypass op wasn't an emergency.
The suicide hotlines have exploded, so have actual suicides. Directly due to having to stay indoors and not seeing hope thanks to all the fear mongering.
People have lost their livelihoods, millions of people. Just because of precautions that were waaaaay OTT.
Children can't play with each other any more due to 'social idiots distancing'. You really think a virus is carrying a yardstick around, where if 2 meters are ecxeeded it holds up it's hands and walks off?
The assholes who put us through all this are those who maintain this charade even AFTER it's all done and dusted.

"But the second wave..." [njanjanja]. Yeah, there will be one. Next year maybe even a third, the year after that another virus we haven't seen in a while might pop by. In 10 years something much worse than this will kill millions, maybe not, this vaccine won't work then, maybe another on might or not...
