I just reported you. The FDA is on the way to your house to seize your ham sandwich.

I'm safe, I'll just knock down a statue of a ham sandwich to show my fealty.

They're hidden behind my hoarded rolls of toilet paper.

Keep bringing it on!

Shouldn't he actually, oh I don't know, do something first??

Thought crimes are a thing now?

That's what I was thinking.

If there was probable cause for a crime such as conspiring to commit a crime, you'd think he'd have gotten arrested.

Now, let's just give dude the benefit of the doubt and say the only mechanism he used was speech. Let's even say it could be interpreted as rhetoric online. We'll say it's defendable or at least debatable.

But here's the thing... I told people this tit for tat was coming it they celebrated the circumvention of rights for rioters. I told them that if they rooted on people getting arrested without being read their rights, or being charged with crimes it was just a matter of time they feel the wake of those waves. Saying that anyone there in black be charged with terrorism for being BLM or ANTIFA, you will reep what you sow.

I said it will just be a matter of time before people get associated with neo Nazis and feel the same effects.

This isn't left vs right. This is the populace allowing more equity of power for those that have already been welding such.

This is just the beginning. And while I don't subscribe to the left or the right, I know I'll feel the fallout lf this eventually.

I thought I read in a link here that he was being investigated for racist graffiti? Maybe it was a federal building. We know how riled up that makes a lot of the ATS group. Have to wait and see is probably best. I did keep saying we appear to be on a slippery slope, but I was labeled a crazy race traitor. 🀣

I'm honestly waiting for it.

I don't get the support of any group since I rip on all of them lol. Odd too, I defend all their rights.

That judge Roman has a history of unconstitutional abuse of power,

Example:

"the commission found that Judge RomΓ‘n abused his authority and
violated the due process rights of individuals appearing before him "

So, on "might", we should have people arrested, or harassed?

On a "might".

Sorry, but no.

Pretty much.

Yep. It's a Brave New World, and Big Brother loves you, and wants only what's best for you.

Yeah, I mix my dystopian literature references...

isn't a person who is in the act of destruction of property or assault and gets arrested different than; a guy who posts dumb sh#t on the internet and gets his home searched, guns seized, his identity posted for all to see, and having to hire an attorney?

i think there is a difference.

Not according to people here, anytime you are within the vicinity of any crimes, you lose all rights, doesn't matter if it was even hours ago. That's what they have been touting on ATS for weeks.

It appears he was being investigated for a crime. Remains to be seen if he will be charged. I think we are beginning to see rights taken away from citizens, starts off small and acceptable to do to people you don't like, but it may not stop there and creep up to your doorstep.

The difference should be after all your rights to due process, and you're convicted of a crime.

Unlike many, I don't account partisan views on how that's applied. Across the board, read your rights, go to a fair trial where evidence is presented and you're convicted or not of a crime that is applicable with punishment that fits said crime.

I recall reading something like this in a piece of fiction that was published a while ago. Now I completely disagree with that particular piece of fiction in every way, however I thought it pertinent to get viewpoints from all sides. It seems, at least at a high level, some of the events laid down in this piece of fiction are beginning to occur. I don't imagine the outcome of this particular book will be accurate, unfortunately it looks as though the lead up to those types of events are becoming a reality however.
