President Trump Suggests Delaying 2020 Presidential Election

President Trump on Thursday suggested delaying November’s presidential election.

The dates of federal elections are set by Congress, and the Constitution makes no provisions for a delay to the Jan. 20 inauguration.

Any such move would require a change of federal law, meaning it would need to go through Democrats in the House of Representatives in addition to the Republican-controlled Senate. (The Congressional Research Service actually weighed in on this topic in March, specifically noting that a president has no legal authority to change the date of the election.)

IMHO, This is just Donald Trump trying to dominate a news cycle, on the day of John Lewis funeral. President George W Bush, President Bill Clinton and President Barrack Obama will be giving eulogies.

Plus, Herman Cain passed away today.

People can tune into Lewis's funeral and still see the news if they want to, FYI. Trump's tweet will only dominate the minds of the leftists who hate him. Nobody else really cares because we all agree that if you can go to the grocery store or go to a protest or go to a restaurant then you can go to a poll to vote.

Thankfully...because face diapers work so well...we can ALL go to the polls in safety and comfort.
