There is no socialism in Christianity...
1 Peter 2:13-17
New International Version
13 Submit yourselves for the Lord’s sake to every human authority: whether to the emperor, as the supreme authority, 14 or to governors,
who are sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to commend those who do right. 15 For it is God’s will that by doing good you should silence
the ignorant talk of foolish people. 16 Live as free people, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as God’s slaves. 17 Show
proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor.
Jesus said he came to establish the kingdom of God. Not to establish any governments made by men. Socialism was made up by men, and hence it won't
be a part of God's kingdom.
But people like "LABTECH767" are making up their own vision of Christianity instead of following what God and Jesus said.
YOU are talking about the HERASSY of rule by divine RIGHT, CHRIST HAS COME, CHRIST IS KING, CHRIST IS RISEN, you can not serve two masters.
READ IT AGAIN.
WE are to submit only were it does not contradict the laws of GOD, I am in no way making up my own religion and while I will not hold our difference
of opinion against you it is probable that you shall still have to justify yourself before the lord on Judgement day, you have passed judgement upon
me not I upon you and no one elected you judge, I am not accusing you and am well aware of the plank in my own eye but you seem to think you see with
divine perfection as Our lord did, well unless you ARE Jesus which of course you are not then I believe you are probably NOT correct..
Look when the crusaders conquered and took Jerusalem back from the Arabs they blasphemed by placing a man on a throne and calling him the KING OF
JERUSALEM, there was and is already a King of Jerusalem and NEW Jerusalem and he is called Jesus or Yeshua - he said before Abraham "I AM", in Hebrew
and Aramaic of the time "I AM" was a holy phrase meant to represent God, when Moshe/Moses said to the presence in the burning bush Who are you it said
"I AM - THAT I AM".
I am in the Father and the Father is in me, WHOEVER Sees me sees the Father, we can not perceive of God in his full majesty but he came to us as a
man and we can see that Christ the perfect man is also God letting us see him.
HE is our God, OUR KING and our true government, we simply are very bad at obeying his law's and that is why he sent his son the Word Incarnate (in
the beginning was God and with God was the Word and the Word IS God, everything that was made was made through him and nothing that was made was made
Now ours is a war with powers and principality's not the flesh (though we struggle with that) those in high places and in the heaven's, spiritual
rulers of darkness,. Do you really believe Spiritual rulers of Darkness have nothing to do with cult's, indebting people and not forgiving there debt,
putting widows into the street and ruling our world through there proxy's because if you do then you are either incredibly naïve or on there side.
Our government's are NOT obeying Christ, when God destroyed Sodom and Gomorrah one of the charges levelled against them was that they had NOT
STRENGTHENED THE HAND OF THE POOR.
We are all guilty of this but you know the poorest in society tend to be the one's that are most often the most generous to other's they see as more
poor than themselves.
The greedy rich that just keep getting richer are the fool that stored his treasure in a barn, don't they know they will die, they will be no more
than the poorest before God and will unless they were as the man in the Eye of the Needle Parable whom did help the poor have to make an account of
there lives before the Throne.
Oh and there have been good king's, prime ministers and presidents.
We need government's but that does not mean we Ignore our TRUE government in Christ or ALLOW them to over rule his laws as is happening today in more
and more of the world as Christendom comes under ever more violent siege.
You know something though - and I am guilty of this - we should never be offended by another's opinion when it comes to discussing our lord, to be
offended is to cut them off but talking about our lord is what the Church was supposed to do, talking about his Example and trying as best we can to
live by those examples, discussing his teaching's and interpreting them, the first TRUE Churches were often house Churches were due to persecution
they would meet in secret, the first Christian Community's were what can only be called Commune's and held ALL there wealth in common, to lie to these
community's was to lie to the Holy Spirit and God set an example there as well.
You have heard the story of Ananias and Sapphira I assume.
Remember this was CHRISTAN commune not atheist communism, God is Lord and all Christians were united through the body of Christ there body's the
temple of the holy Spirit and the closer to that ideal they were of course the closer to God and more the word of Christ indwelt within them.
But what happens if you in such a true Christian community then lie to the holy spirit that is not only within you but within your brothers and
sisters, if you cut yourself off from them.
Now a man named Ananias, together with his wife Sapphira, also sold a piece of property. 2With his wife’s full knowledge, he kept back some of the
proceeds for himself, but brought a portion and laid it at the apostles’ feet.
Then Peter said, “Ananias, how is it that Satan has filled your heart to lie to the Holy Spirit and withhold some of the proceeds from the land?
Did it not belong to you before it was sold? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? How could you conceive such a deed in your heart? You
have not lied to men, but to God!”
On hearing these words, Ananias fell down and died. And great fear came over all who heard what had happened.
Then the young men stepped forward, wrapped up his body, and carried him out and buried him.
About three hours later his wife also came in, unaware of what had happened.
“Tell me,” said Peter, “is this the price you and your husband got for the land?” “Yes,” she answered, “that is the price.”
“How could you agree to test the Spirit of the Lord?” Peter replied. “Look, the feet of the men who buried your husband are at the door, and
they will carry you out also.”
At that instant she fell down at his feet and died. Then the young men came in and, finding her dead, carried her out and buried her beside her
Note also how these Christian's were living?.
Communal Kibbutz type community's, wealth, work, food and care shared in common among them since they were now all one family in Christ and in his
body, it is the modern church the one that anoints false king's that is wrong.
Non of us are perfect, we have all fallen short of the Glory of God and we NEED his mercy, we need him, how then can we replace him with earthly
thing's, we all like a bit of comfort but there is reasonable and then there is greed, what is the example the Apostle Peter and more so the Holy
Spirit made here.
