Japanese internment camps were established during World War II by President Franklin Roosevelt through his Executive Order 9066. From 1942 to 1945, it was the policy of the U.S. government that people of Japanese descent would be interred in isolated camps. Enacted in reaction to Pearl Harbor and the ensuing war, the Japanese internment camps are now considered one of the most atrocious violations of American civil rights in the 20th century.

www.history.com...

This was a terrible thing. We took a group of people who had done nothing, and only because of their nationality, we put them in prison camps. We segregated them due to their ethnicity and charged them with the sins of others, simply because of where they came from.

Does any of that sound familiar? Does it sound anything at all like trying to reprimand all White people for slavery? No, we haven't been put into camps. Yet. Sadly, at the rate we are going the SJW's would volunteer to the rest of us to go to camps, and the MSM would champion that cause, and make the rest feel guilty for not locking themselves away.

I get that slavery was horrific. I even get that racism is a problem. What seems to be missing is the recognition of how far we have come already.

I will say openly and honestly, that BLM is the largest racial division tool i have ever seen, and I believe that entity will divide us as a nation and do more damage than any other group or action we could face. I say that, as I also acknowledge it's start had valid concerns.

When patriotism, our flag, our national anthem becomes a problem for some, we as a nation of Americans (of all colors and creeds) need to stand up and rebuke it. Socialism masked as democratic socialism needs to be shunned and removed. it's regression in it's purest form.

We don't need to go down this road. It's a bad road, and all turn off's and short cuts lead to the same place. it's not a good place. We can still turn around. But we all, and I say ALL in the inclusive way, need to get back to pride in our nation, pride in being American, and pride in being united.

An armed population won’t be put in camps, however, we must defend our Constitutional rights if we want to keep our freedom. Also, I totally agree with your views on BLM. I have been verbally attacked as a racist for not supporting the Marxist, BLM organization. The fact is we can all support black folk without supporting the destruction of our nation.

I've recently renounced my whiteness and now identify as a different race which was a official classification back in the good old days, 'Mediterranean'.

Eventually we will get around to putting you on trains for locations elsewhere. The sad part is they will be run by Italians and if you're familiar with their constant rail strikes you'll most likely not get to your assigned camp with any sense of urgency whatsoever.

I started a similar thread as well, about history repeating itself. I used a different example, however...

The American Cultural Revolution

I believe we are seeing, in America, the beginnings of a Cultural Revolution in the style of the Chinese Cultural Revolution of the 1960's, with BLM, Antifa, and other similar organizations playing the role of the Red Guard.

I'm not sure if you've noticed, man, but there are literal children in this country being detained in camps because their parents had the audacity to try and move here.

Why are you desperate to feel oppressed?

It’s not called “moving to the USA”, it’s called breaking the law.
But you already know that and choose to ignore the laws.
Nice try though.

There literally are children in cages. Right now. While the OP fantasizes of a future where evil SJWs lock "white people" away in detainment camps and literally compares it to the Japanese-American internment camps of yesteryear.

PUHHLEEEASSE lol
FLASHBACK
House Dems use Obama-era photos to promote ‘kids in cages’ hearing

.....Democrats on the House Oversight Committee sent out a pair of tweets Wednesday and earlier this month with photos of migrants sleeping on a detention center floor to publicize an immigration hearing in Capitol Hill.
Just one problem — the pics were snapped in 2014, during the Obama Administration.
The Dems deleted the two messages, and claimed it was an “error.”
...
“House Democrats are promoting their ‘civil rights’ hearing on ‘kids in cages’ and ‘inhumane treatment’ with a photo from 2014, when Joe Biden was Vice President,” the tweet read. “So dishonest!”

Oh Boy ! Can we at least get with the current HOAX ?

I never understood how Americans are fine with spending billions for their military spreading misery and death , fine with spending millions so your oversized, overreaching secret services can violate every right of citizens.
But spending a little so people who have disabilities, mental problems, chronical ills can live in dignity?
Hells no! That's where you have to draw a line!

Nah, I think blacks just want to be able to say this my country too, all of it.

The camp thing is by those who really want to, as there are several other avenues before supporting camps or atomic bombs alike.

Dood, do they teach classes in how to miss the point? If so, you could teach it.

I'm trying like hell to avoid what comes next. If you can't or won't see it, from my seat, you are the problem, and a solution is needed. We can mend race relations in this nation without starting a civil war. If you truly want one, I'd say don't change a thing. And if you think that's hyperbole, do a little research into nations that had civil wars and why.

It's like there is an embargo on common sense. Most of us, white, beige, brown, or in between feel the same way. The racists are already outcasts. That mentality is shunned by the current climate. But just as in life, it only takes one "aw sh!t" to erase 10 "attaboy's", and trying to declare all white people as overt racists who need to submit to admission of some crime committed in the 1800's is a pretty big "aw sh!t" in my book.

This is the work of the idiots in Academia. marxists/leftist professors have been stoking these fires for years.

Tell me, do you fully support riots masquerading as protests?

In years past, even the stupid one's would say burning stores and looting is wrong.
