I think the USA should team up with the Asian countries that are a bit pissed at China for building them artificial islands. What goes around comes around.
What are your thoughts on this idea?

What kind of strategic importance would that give us?
We have very strong allies in the area and lots of troops and supplies for support already in the region.

This post makes no sense, we're talking about chinese claims to areas not recognized by the international community, this isn't an American endeavor, rather, an American lead one, the asiatic nations are in need of a big stick to contend with china.
What they need to do is create a new, Asiatic state, united in their mutual defence for each other.

Should the us continue to instigate conflict around the world, no.

The madness stops with trump.

The South China seas should be overseen by which the name implies. The us has more than enough small islands it took claim. We just want a piece of the natural rare earth minerals in the region. The overt greed is camouflaged by convincing people you’re “the good guys” and are free to do as we wish around the world.


The plan was always to collapse this country from within, so no in the state America is in, we have 0 jurisdiction any where but in America. As it should be.

Rationalize it however you want, but I'm not getting drawn into a discussion where a user doesn't extend me the courtesy of a multi dimensional perspective, rather, an opaque one dimensional one where it conflates ideology with Military tactics and enforcement.

Well, if we did that to help another Asian country make a claim to the area, I would submit that the island(s) should be in the shape of a hand with only one finger extended.

OR if an alliance of Asian countries were to team up to extend a claim to the area with NATO or the U.S. backing them, it might make sense sort of.

It seems to me that those who can maintain supply chains to their extremities will have decisive victories.

It would be impossible to invade the US.
It is much easier to sow revolutionary discord.
To protect their foreign interests, the US can not be isolationist, unless they forgo these.
