Does having no self control mean you have a choice? Do you have a choice when you worship the devil or is free will only something you have when submitted to God? Do you think there is free will when following Satan or do you think free will is the choice between following God or the devil?

If free will means you choose who you worship then why do some people worship the devil? I don't think they have a choice.

You don't simply choose God, you must change to find God, you must see the light for that and repent.

Someone turn on the light.

Yet even you are presenting a choice (between following your advice and not following it).
Escaping the obligation of choice is not as easy as you think.

It wasn't advice, I only stated a fact with that.

When you say "You must", that means there is a choice between doing it and not doing it. Anyone who fails to do it is making a different choice. In fact it has exactly the same logical effect as the Biblical "Thou shalt/thou shalt not".

When I say you must be married for 50 years to reach the symbol of gold marriage, does that mean you have choice?

Not necessarily right. Your spouse could die. There are a few things beyond our control.

In the same manner, how can you repent when you never get to see the light?

If you don't think they have the power to choose, why bother telling them to do it?

Anyway, you are now disagreeing with me and preferring a different opinion. That's a choice you are making. Anyone reading this will find themselves having to decide which opinion they prefer. That's a choice.
Evading the necessity of choice is not as easy as you think.

Worshipping Satan is cool, that's why we do it.

Pentagram tattoo'd on my forehead with a swatsika in the middle of it.

If we could have animated tattoos it would slowly spin counter-clockwise.

I'm not telling them to do anything. I simply stated a fact. Are you even following this conversation?

Your answer is right there in your question...
Because free will means you choose. You have choice.
Also
Changing to find God IS choosing God
The light is yours to turn on

Well done, captains obvious.

What's so bad about God then when you say people have a choice? Is it because once you've chosen God you can't go back?

How can people choose God when most don't even know what God is?

What is Satan?
What is God?

Can you even choose what thought or sensation appears next?
Or even what you see next?

Did you choose to see and read these words?

Can anyone choose to misunderstand?

Did you choose to disagree with Out6of9Balance?
Did you choose to have a different opinion?

Can you choose preferences?

If you prefer chocolate ice cream.. can you choose to prefer vanilla?

When it found that there is no choice then that is the true freedom that everyone is seeking for.

Instead of being bombarded with thoughts of 'I did it wrong' or 'they did it wrong' there will be peace of mind.

Everything is simply happening just as it is.

Beyond right doings and wrong doings is a field...I will meet you there! Rumi.

Free will to me is an illusion. But within that illusion is the freedom of not knowing it is an illusion. To me, All decisions are Formed from different kinds of reactions.
