His Biggest Mistake was Deflecting the Artificial Covid-19 Crisis back went it first Started and then lets Governors Decide How to Handle It . He Did the Right Thing by Law , but We All Know Now that was a Political Decision he Might Regret .

Here is an abuse of power from the federal government that flies in the face of states rights.

The original abuse of power was Governors and Mayors allowing their cities to burn to the ground — in the name of partisan politics.

You realize you're defending rioters, arsonists and anarchists correct?

These aren't law abiding decent people being targeted. These are some very bad hombres that intend to violently impose their disgusting brand of tyranny (socialism) on this mandatory Republican nation

What covid crisis? I don't see a crisis anywhere do you?

The crisis is tyrannical state governments depriving citizens of liberty and success because they fear some little virus

Never before have we closed down anything over a goofy virus

It's an act of God. People die. Life will go on....for 99.5% of us.

Want to see the one of them chanting to burn down another police station?

Never again

Whatever happens next, just know two things

1) They brought it squarely on themselves
2) I'll defend it 100% knowing it's righteous and deserved

Sacrifices must be made so peace loving civilized Americans can live and pursue happiness in the greatest country on Earth.

The feral rioters are that sacrifice. Shed a tear if you must, but I know I can live with that

I think our President is starting to realize he has vast National security powers... We can crack down hard and still hang it all around the lefts neck.

I think the Feds should have acted sooner, but if they're getting the job done now, I'm happy about that.

It's really frustrated me that the Feds haven't used their legitimate powers to work with -- or without -- local agencies to free a literal takeover of people's rights -- Constitutional rights, civil rights, property rights, etc. Every state has a Constitutional mandate to guarantee a republican form of government to its citizens, and the Feds likewise have a Constitutional mandate to make sure that happens.

And if a few rights were tweaked a little in the process, as long as due process is served in the end, I can forgive the Feds just a smidge.

Sometimes -- just sometimes! -- it's better to ask forgiveness than permission.

Wish I still lived in Portland.

I’d be spending my nights doing drive by shootings on POS looters, using a high powered paintball gun with frozen ammunition.

Yup, I’d aim for their face and balls.

This gave me a good chuckle -- thank you! I probably wouldn't recommend it if you asked, because I'd hate for you to get in trouble... but if you didn't ask and I found out after the fact, I'd love it!

Thinking outside the box -- bravo!

You hard right-wing dolts that make up this sight are just so damn hypocritical.

Said from your left-wing echo chamber? I'm not a right-wing anything...

Here is an abuse of power from the federal government that flies in the face of states rights.

As I just noted in a previous comment, this is not a violation of states' rights, because every state has a Constitutional mandate to provide a republican form of government. When these tyrants assumed control of land they had no authority or right to control, they violated the rights of every taxpayer and citizen affected. The Feds also have a Constitutional mandate to protect those rights, with or without the cooperation of local agencies, and especially when local agencies refuse to take action themselves.

Your premise is false, so the rest of your comment is therefore moot. To say the least.

Agree with this entirely my friend

I don't like seeing rights trampled on, but the insurrection trampling on our rights is no better or worse than the Feds doing it

Only difference is the rioters actually did something to deserve it

As long as they don't go overboard, I support our system being able to defend itself from those whose stated purpose is to overthrow or even undermine it

They should work to expose their ties to China, financiers, etc as well

My position exactly

Hey stay out of your vehicle and wear a mask

In all seriousness, as hilarious as this would be, it'd just give them another way to cry victim

Then again watching one take a frozen paintballt to the stones would be worth it

Well, lots of people do it for fun... no harm, no foul, right?

And I think in these exceptional circumstances, it's fair to just chalk it up to the whole "better to ask forgiveness than permission" vibe already going!

I mostly tend to agree here, I'd like to see a formal invocation of the Insurrection Act although I'm not sure the law stipulates any such notice

Oh girl, I’m not that stupid.

I’d chum up with the local LEO’s. Show them my support. Buy them drinks when they are off duty.

After becoming friends, I’d tell them of my plans. They’d turn a blind eye.

I can see the headlines now: “Balls exploding on Broadway - Rioting Quelled by Ball Busting Vigilantes”
