It is illogical to use logic to talk to those who are illogical.

So you're saying we can believe any doctors that are not a member of a club?

Logic is never illogical.
By definition.

No.
But proclamations issued by that particular club should be considered highly suspect. At face value.

The association has promoted a range of scientifically discredited hypotheses, including the belief that HIV does not cause AIDS, that being gay reduces life expectancy, that there is a link between abortion and breast cancer, and that there is a causal relationship between vaccines and autism.

Logic is never illogical.

I never said it was. I said its use is illogical when dealing with illogical people.

If that club is the WHO or the UN then proclamations should be 100% ignored

I just want to be clear what it is you are trying to say here.

So...smilies.
How very effective in attempting to make one's point.
Almost as good as a meme.

No. You're just being disingenuous.
Again, as you are wont to do.

My point was clear. The AAPS is full of crap and has a very small membership.

No, I was actually trying to be serious.

Do you think doctors should be listened to?

OK, let me rephrase... should we listen to doctors who do not belong to an organization you don't like?

If there is science which supports what they say, yes.
If they disregard science which conflicts with what they say, not so much.

Good! Now we're getting somewhere.

BTW, how do you define "science"?

I'm not going to listen to medical advice from doctors that are clearly anti science

What makes it so funny is that you probably think that makes sense...

TheRedneck

Glad you find it amusing, there's probably a whole bunch of flat earthers in that organisation judging by the ignorance displayed.

To the point; randomized, blinded, and controlled studies.

Does AAPS present any?

To the point; randomized, blinded, and controlled studies.

So science is limited then to what is repeatable under controlled conditions?

I tend to define science as "Man's ongoing attempts to achieve perfect knowledge through experimentation and analysis." Do you disagree with that definition?

That is not what I said. Not even close. (And thank you for quoting me.)
If you are going to continue with misstating me, as you have done before, I'll see you later.

Oh, I do! I do!

It's not every day that someone actually comes out and complains about scientists not being scientific. Sounds like an oxymoron to me... like "military intelligence" or "dehydrated water."
