You seriously think progressives are the majority of Americans? That's funny.

You're right. And considering the amount of hate spewed on ATS towards the majority of Americans and the constant dreams of civil war where they can off their progressive brothers and sisters... it's hard to tell where the patriotism starts and the hate of their own country ends.

Hate the sin, love the sinner... Progressivism is about as deeply stained a sin as one will find, considering the roots of most modern sins are attached to it.

Oh, what forum to post this in, what a dilemma, it's just to hard to decide. Maybe the 'He Is So Disgusting Forum''. Maybe the ''How Low Have We Sunk Forum''

Maybe the ''He's the Lowest Form of Snake Oil Salesman Forum''. I dunno, the list of forums is just to extensive.

So here we are folks, the President of the United States of America, hawking beans and other products from the Resolute Desk in the Oval office.

Ever been a salesperson? It's not just presenting a product, it' coercing people into purchasing a product. It's manipulative. It's, dare I say it,, brainwashing. Ever wonder at the billions and billions of dollars spent on developing slogans and pitches and promotional campaigns? The entire industry of Madison Avenue, all to create not better citizens but rather compliant consumers.....

So comply all you defenders of this shill of a president, consume away. Eat what he wants you to eat, drink what his tells you to pour down your throat. Be good little Trumpean consumers.

Because you know what? That's all you are to him, consumers of his brand, of his pitch, of his ability to sell whatever crap he thinks he can get away with. And though you may not pay to buy this product, certainly many will buy his shirts and his hats and his other paraphernalia .

And in the end, it's not the money so much that he cons away from you, no, more importantly he cons your vote. So buy away friends, Pay again to have this ''used car salesman'' sitting in the White House as he turns the USA into a bargain basement fire sale.

Does this mean you are a racist against Hispanics? It sure sounds like it here. If you were Trump, and you came here and made the exact same post that you just did against say a former president for showing support for this company, you would be attacked as caught red handed being a racist.

Personally I don't think you are a racist, I just think you are incredibly ignorant of everything around you because of your vile hatred of Trump. When you foster hatred in your heart like you are doing, you transform your essence as a human being into becoming completely bereft of logic and for distinguishing what is really going on anywhere. To you, everyone else is stupid who likes Trump, and you have invented all kinds of malignant adjectives describing those people to yourself to elevate yourself above them.

Your subconscious mind does this for self protection by separating yourself from all those scummy people, and elevating you to the enlightened class of lefties. Its the only way you can look in the mirror and not flee in abject terror.

But it is all a delusion.

The only important question remaining is now that you know this, will you get the help you need or will you double down on your self induced dementia?

At this point, only YOU can help you.

Interesting notion here NoC. Can you find any mention of racial content in my post. You were kind enough to quote the whole OP for me so that I could read it back to myself, which, I did. And yep, no mention of any racial regards. Yet, you ''heard'' it anyway.

Sure, the link I posted did mention how others are claiming Trump's endorsement was racially motivated, yet in the OP I did not go there at all. I focused on the nature of advertising and Trump's stooping to sell a product for a private company straight from the Oval Office.

If I were Trump, and came here making the exact same post against a former potus I would be attacked and caught red handed for being racist. Right? Regardless of what that means, has any other president to you knowledge sat down in the Oval Office and done a commercial for any specific product before. I can recall none. Can you?

And it's not the specific product NoC, it's the fact that there was a product AT ALL that the President of the United States was shilling for from the White House.

As for the rest of your reply, it was nicely couched slander, easily acceptable as sound advice and for a moment gave me pause, until you added in this.

I just love this kind of ''in depth'' psychoanalysis that some members feel so free in dishing out on other members, especially when the bulk of members here back that kind of slander though less eloquently.

You are trashing Trumps contribution to this Hispanic company. Why would anyone defame a good deed? If they were racist they would do that. "Hawking beans from the oval office".

I already said myself I don't think you are racist for saying that, but if it was a prominent republican saying the same thing, then your comrades on the left would be ripping that person a new a-hole. Get the picture now?

That's just it though, when you folks do it it's totally innocent. When a known right side says something even with no mal intent, it is used and jumped on immediately as whatever they can twist it into.

And here you are trashing Trump for a good deed that just happens to promote a Hispanic company. Hawking beans could be taken as a slur in this context. Beaners? Ignorant much?

Actually I find you OP offensive and pitifully devoid of any value. Who except an extreme TDS sufferer would make a mockery of Trump helping a Hispanic company and say he's hawking beans from the oval office. It's tasteless and does nothing except show your own lack of character. "Trump helps Hispanics and you call him a Bean pusher. That just doesn't sound good at all.

Your hatred of Trump just blinds your mind and has turned it into refried beans.

That is the real kicker....we are told that Trump must go at all costs. And how does the DNC plan to achieve this? Their plan seems to be 2 fold:

- Nominate the only person in the DNC that is less electable than Hillary Clinton to compete against Trump
- Campaign primarily to the most fringe progressive elements that make most Americans the most uncomfortable

It seems like their strategy just can't lose. And they obviously take their own views on Trump so seriously, they've put their best foot forward for the People to decide on.

This definitely isn’t the first time this has run through my head. I just chalked it up to the federal government doing what the federal government does best; thinking they know what the people want and if it misses the mark, f*ck it, run with it anyway.

It should be painfully obvious to everyone by now but it isn’t. Democrats secretly LOVE Trump and they are using reverse psychology on us. There is no other explanation. I know we hate them but the ugly truth is that they are adults and most of them are more intelligent than we would like to give them credit for. They know EXACTLY what they are doing.

You have a short memory. You don’t remember Obama putting his thumb on the scales of justice to sell the very profitable product called racism?
If I had a son he would look just like Treyvon.
But yeah, Trump was wrong to promote a minority’s business. He’s only supposed to help out us whites. I just may vote for Biden in November....Nah, Terry I respect you to much to lie....Biden is too racist my vote.

Or is it the other way around?
Are Americans burning down anti-America? Because it mostly looks like mom and pop stores to me.

As usual you have got things completely ass-backwards. When we push back and inform the left that we will not go quietly into their progressive/socialist/sh!thole future, they cry that we want civil war. Civil war is initiated by the ones who wish to "fundamentally change" the USA. Those are your guys "constant dreams" - if your "progressive brothers and sisters" get "offed' in their quest, that's all on you.

My hope for Obama dwindled to zilch after only a couple of months. He presided over the continuation of the old machine that to my mind was chugging along on empty. As for him ''selling racism'' well, I can see how some can see it that way.

Liberalism, real liberalism would not promote identity politics, it would only encourage multi-culturalism. Instead, what we see now is based on identify with and almost only with your own heritage rather than embracing humanity as a whole. And yes, I see that Obama relied upon allowing that type of thought to get him a second term.

And Biden cow-towing to that divide is for me a very sad state of affairs. I know only a few liberal type of people and almost to down to one, none of them want to see Biden at the head of the ticket. None, he is only acceptable in contrast to Trump and only then because it seems that for most in the Democrat Party, he is the best bet to beat Trump. I don't agree with them because even if he should win could not lead us into a future acceptable to any of us.

If I may, I would like to address your comments directly above the post this is in reply to. You suggest

Interesting, the conclusion you have arrived at here to help explain the actions and in-actions of those who you profess to hate is quizzically off the mark. In figuring out the complexities of our political landscape, indeed our place as individuals in this cosmic circus, holding as part of our existential equation the notion that the only conclusion to explain Democrats is that they secretly love Trump is a complete dead end. It's a philosophical road to nowhere.

However, would they even notice if we were to elect a democrat version of Trump? I doubt it. I think we all need to be wary of what the backlash to Trumpianism might bring us.

And in the end Guilty, all of this to my mind is rather moot. The forces of nature, be they environmental or cultural, be they the advancing technology or the vast expressions of human potential and ineptitude pose a threat that none of us really can control. It's like we have all been tossed into a cosmic washing machine with no way out until the cycle is complete.

I want to point out that I have clearly stated a number of times in this thread, once to you specifically that my objection to Trump advertising ANY, read that again,ANY product from the Oval Office is shameful. Any product.

It's you who continues with the racist angle here, not me. I said hawking beans and other products. You keep bringing up the ''bean'' angle saying ''

Hawking beans could be taken as a slur in this context. Beaners? Ignorant much?

Of course it could, and as i have pointed out, you did. So tell me here, is your mind so clouded with rights and wrongs of racist jargon that you could only read racism into the word ''bean'' Are you so '' politically correct'' that you would expunge the word 'bean'' from usage?

Look, I'm sorry I used a word that sprung you so strongly so that you could not glean anything other than that from that OP. OK?

Hey TrumP(ets)!

So I am curious if it is breaking the law to promote products while serving

Is it still ok?

Guess this is kinda like when all them butt hurt Football nuts got all upity about NIKE and dicided to boycott them cause a player took a knee, not because of the deplorable working conditions at NIKE...

Guess you TrumP(ets) forget the guy in that book you all throw around pretending to read wore sandals and wasn't white.

Had a friend who is a TrumP(et) tell me she was not backing this flagrant disregard of the offices being held...

Also I guarantee neither has even tasted those products! Just looking at this made me throw up in mouth! Had Obama done anything disgraceful like this the Right woulda lost its collective tiny minds!
